Mr. Hawkins stated that the zoning <br />classification was needed so that the regulations of that. <br />particular zoning could be applied to buildings and site plan <br />approval. Acting Mayor Reinert asked that a copy of <br />Ordinance No. 06 - 89 be mailed to Mr. Torkildson and County <br />Commissioner Langfeld. <br />Voting on the motion, motion carried unanimously. This <br />ordinance can be found in the June 26, 1989 Council Minutes. <br />PARK BOARD REPORT <br />Request to Use Dedicated Park Funds for Improvements to <br />Sunrise Park - Mr. Volk explained that the Park Board has <br />looked at what is developing in and around Sunrise Park and <br />feels an effort should be made to upgrade the park per the <br />development plan. The Board is asking that the Council <br />authorize the expenditure from Dedicated Funds of $42,000 for <br />the installation of a second hockey rink with lights and two <br />sets of bleachers. <br />Mr. Neal moved to approve the construction of the improvement <br />as recommended by the Park Board. - Mr. Bohjanen seconded the <br />motion. Mr. Volk said that the cost figures given to the <br />Council are estimates and only the actual costs will be taken <br />from the Dedicated Funds. Voting on the motion, motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />ENGINEER'S REPORT <br />Resolution No. 48 - 89 Ordering Improvement and Preparation <br />of Plans and Specifications, Rohavic Oaks, Phase II - Mr. <br />Stahlberg explained that the public hearing was held June 26, <br />1989 and the owner of the property has petitioned that the <br />sixty (60) day waiting period be reduced to ten days. This <br />is actually a modification to the Woodridge Estates <br />development and he recommended that the Resolution be <br />adopted. <br />Mr. Bohjanen moved to adopt Resolution No. 48 - 89 contingent <br />upon the acquisition of the necessary right -of -way from Mr. <br />McCullough. Mr. Bisel seconded the motion. Motion carried <br />unanimously. Resolution No. 48 - 89 can be found at the end <br />of these minutes. <br />David Aras Right -of -Way Letter - Mr. Stahlberg explained that <br />the Council has authorized him to proceed with negotiations <br />to obtain the right -of -way to the north /south street leading <br />north from Woodridge Estates. The negotiations have not been <br />finalized and Mr. Aras has made some demands regarding future <br />hookups and assurances that there will be no assessments. <br />Mr. Hawkins told the Council the cleanest way to handle this <br />situation is to have the land appraised and allow the Aras' <br />
