,3 0 <br />COUNCIL WORK SESSION AUGUST 14, 1989 <br />city withdraws. Mr. Reinert said that a check point has been <br />included in the budget as well as the Agreement. Mayor Benson <br />said he felt Mr. Bisel had a good point and suggested that it <br />be mandatory for all Councils to meet at the third quarter <br />and review the Agreement to see if any community has reached <br />the 70% point. Mr. Schumacher said he felt that there were <br />already a lot of checks and balances included in the <br />Agreement. Mayor Benson noted the potential industrial and <br />commercial growth and suggested that this idea be brought <br />before the other two cities. <br />Mr. Schumacher explained that he has a meeting with the <br />Administrators of Circle Pines and Centerville and he will <br />bring this to their attention at that time. <br />Mayor Benson noted two items that have not yet been addressed <br />are the uniform fire code and regulations for gas stations. <br />Mr. Schumacher explained that the attorneys for Centerville <br />and Circle Pines are now reviewing the document. They will <br />forward their opinion to staff. <br />Mr. Bohjanen moved to adjourn at 6:55 P.M. Mr. Bisel <br />seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />As the meeting ended, the Council Members were served with Complaint and <br />Motion for Temporary Injunction by an undentified lady.
