1 COUNCIL MEETING APRIL 23, 1990 Update Regarding the Employee Computer Program, Randy Schumacher - Mr. Schumacher asked that this item be moved to the next Council agenda. NEW BUSINESS Application for Exemption From Charitable Gambling License, St. Joseph's Catholic Church - Mrs. Anderson explained that this organization hold less than five (5) gambling occasions per year and are requesting an exemption from the requirement to obtain a gambling license. No action is required by the Council unless the Council feels this Organization has abused their privilege. The Council did not take any action on this matter. Resolution No. 19 - 90 Proclaiming LOYALTY DAY - Mayor Bisel read the proclamation. Council Member Bohjanen moved to adopt Resolution No. 19 - 90. Council Member Neal seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. Resolution No. 19 - 90 can be found at the end of these minutes. Resolution No. 21 - 90 Abating Assessments on Lot 5, Block 8, Block 11, Block 8 and Lot 12, Block 8, Lakes Addition No. 3 - Mrs. Anderson explained that these lots were sold at the Sheriff's auction and she was not notified of the sale. She was also not notified to remove these lots from the assessment rolls. Mr. Schumacher noted that all three lots did have sewer and water assessments and all three lots are buildable. He asked Mr. Hawkins if these lots could be re= assessed. Mr. Hawkins explained that a public hearing could be held and the lots re- assessed. Mr. Schumacher will bring this matter back }^ +hP r"nntil for consideration. Council Member Bohjanen moved to adopt Resolution No. 21 - 90. Council Member Neal seconded the motion.
