1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />COUNCIL MEETING DECEMBER 20. 1990 <br />The regular meeting of the Lino Lakes City Council was called to <br />order by Mayor Bisel at 6:30 P.M., Thursday, December 20, 1990. <br />Council Members present: Neal, Kuether, Reinert, Bohjanen. <br />Council Members absent: none. City Attorney, Bill Hawkins; <br />Engineer's, Darrell Schneider and Dan Boxrud; Planner, John <br />Miller; Administrator, Randy Schumacher and Clerk- Treasurer <br />Marilyn Anderson were also present. <br />CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />Council Budget Work Session, November 28, 1990 - Council Member <br />Neal moved to approve these minutes as presented. Council Member <br />Bohjanen seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Regular Council Meeting, December 10, 1990 - Council Member <br />Reinert moved to approve these minutes as presented. Council <br />Member Bohjanen seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />1991 Council Budget Public Hearing, November 29, 1990 - Council <br />Member Neal moved to approve these minutes as presented. Council <br />Member Kuether seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF DISBURSEMENTS <br />December 20, 1990 - Council Member Neal moved to approve these <br />disbursements as presented. Council Member Kuether seconded the <br />motion. The cost of preparing and mailing the newsletter was <br />questioned. Mr. Schumacher explained that he will be requesting <br />bids on preparing the newsletter. The cost of mailing the <br />newsletter is a set cost and probably will be increasing in 1991. <br />The newsletter is mailed to about 3,000 addresses. <br />Voting on the motion, motion carried unanimously. <br />Centennial Fire Department - Council Member Bohjanen moved to <br />approve these disbursements as presented. Council Member Kuether <br />seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />OPEN MIKE <br />Council Member Neal referred to several articles written in the <br />Forest Lake Times, the Circulating Pines and the Quad Press. He <br />noted that many times all three newspaper write articles about <br />the same subject. However, the manner the article is written in <br />each paper is different. He noted that the recent articles <br />regarding the Centerville police contract in the Forest Lake <br />PAGE 1 <br />162 <br />
