COUNCIL MEETING <br />DECEMBER 27, 1988 <br />The regular meeting of the Lino Lakes City Council was <br />called to order by Mayor Benson at 7:07 P.M., December 27, <br />1988. Council Members present: Neal, Bisel, Reinert. Mr. <br />Bohjanen arrived at 7:11 P.M. Council Members absent: <br />none. City Attorney, Bill Hawkins; Engineer, Ron Stahlberg; <br />Planner, John Miller; Administrator, Randy Schumacher and <br />Clerk - Treasurer, Marilyn Anderson were also present. Chief <br />of Police, Dean Campbell and Public Works Director, Don Volk <br />Accountant, Paula Romocky arrived for the Budget Hearing. <br />CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF MINUTES, DECEMBER 12, 1988 <br />Mr. Bisel moved to approve the December 12, 1988 minutes as <br />presented. Mr. Reinert seconded the motion. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF DISBURSEMENTS, DECEMBER 27, <br />1988 <br />Mr. Reinert moved to approve the December 27, 1988 <br />Disbursements as presented. Mr. Bisel seconded the motion. <br />Mr. Bisel asked if the disbursement to Anoka County for the <br />purchase of tax forfeit land was the lots sold to Mr. Uhde. <br />Mrs. Anderson explained it was and the City did make less <br />than $1,000.00 on the transaction. There was a question <br />regarding the disbursement to the Senior Center for the <br />brunch they served on December 3, 1988. The amount was <br />extremely low and Mrs. Anderson explained that this was the <br />cost of the food. <br />Voting on the motion, motion carried unanimously. <br />OPEN MIKE <br />No one appeared under Open Mike. <br />PLANNING AND ZONING REPORT JOHN MILLER <br />Conditional Use Permit, Adams Outdoor Advertising, Planning <br />and Zoning Application No. 88 38 - Mr. Miller explained <br />that Adams Outdoor Advertising have applied for a CUP to <br />erect two billboards, one on the northeast corner of 35E and <br />Main Street and the second in the Schilling Industrial Park <br />near 35W and Lake Drive. This request has been reviewed by <br />the Economic Development Committee (EDC) and the Planning <br />PAGE 1 <br />
