1 <br />1 <br />September 9, 1974 <br />Mr. Volk was in the audience and was asked when he could start. He said he would <br />turn in his resignation on the 10th of September. Mr. Zelinka moved that Mr. Volk <br />start on September 30, 1974. Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Jaworski moved to advertise for a Deputy -Clerk in the local papers. Seconded <br />by Mr. McLean. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Locher discussed the requirements for mailing in rezoning requests and <br />suggested that the State Statutes be followed. Mr. McLean moved that this be given <br />to the Planning and Zoning Board for study. Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Motion <br />carried. <br />The Cabaret License Ordinance was discussed, with Mr. Locher recommending that <br />the new one simply replace the existing license. Mr. Bohjanen was concerned <br />that the fee not raise too drastically. The Council felt that more time was <br />needed to study this. Mr. Jaworski moved to table this until the September 23, <br />1974 meeting. Seconded by Mr. McLean. Motion carried. <br />Under Old Business, Mr. Jaworski asked what sort of a contract the City has with <br />the Metro Sewer Board and was told that at the present time the City is operating <br />under the 1973 Contract. Mr. Jaworski suggested that a new one be worked out as <br />soon as possible with the Metro Sewer Board assuming the full cost of hauling <br />the sewage. Mayor Bohjanen said he would contact Mr. Ray Payne on this matter. <br />The Mayor asked the Clerk to pull last year's contract and leave a copy in his box. <br />Under New Business, Mayor Bohjanen reminded the Council of the budget scheduled <br />for Thursday, September 12, 1974. <br />A Letter from the Ramsey County Board of Commissioners passing a resolution with- <br />drawing their support of the Battle Creek Water Shed District providing a joint <br />powers agreement can be worked out. <br />Mr. Zelinka asked if the Clerk had received any information from the Building <br />Inspector or the Police Department on the location of unfinished buildings in the <br />City. She said she had not. Mr. Zelinka requested that these men be contacted. <br />Mr. Jaworski moved to approve requisitions #464 through,and including (#2540. <br />Seconded by Mr. Zelinka. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Zelinka moved to approve the payroll checks #2522 through and including #2540. <br />Seconded by Mr. McLean. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Jaworski moved to adjourn at 10:45 P.M. Seconded by Mr. Zelinka. Aye. <br />These minutes were approved at the Sept.23, 1974 meeting. <br />Clerk- Treasurer <br />
