November 12, 1974 <br />shotgun shells around the area as well as beer cans and evidence of fires. He <br />is concerned that the fires may get out of hand and burn the entire area. He <br />doesn't know how to handle this and is asking for advice. He doesn't know who <br />is commiting the vandalism. <br />Mr. Zelinka asked Chief Myhre is he had any contact with Mr. FaIan and Chief <br />Myhre siad that he had talked t im severl times. <br />Mr. Jaworski thought that with the full time police department, some of this <br />might be taken care of. <br />The suggestion of posting 'No Trespassing' signs came up and Mr. Zelinka asked <br />i fMr. Flan would prosecute any one caught and Mr. Fakran said, Yes. This law <br />is very vague and there is a problem prosecuting. <br />Mr. Fail-an said that he would appreciate any attention that the Police Department <br />could give to this area and he thanked the Council for hearing him out. <br />Requisition $508 was discussed and it was decided that this heator should be <br />inspected and then a requisition be filled out for the necessary part to repair it. <br />Mr. Zelinka moved to approve requisitions #509 through and including #514. Seconded <br />by Mr. McLean. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Zelinka moved to pay bills #6065 through and including #6095, noting that <br />#6077 was void. Seconded by Mr. McLean. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Zelinka moved to approve payroll checks #2631 through and including #2667. <br />Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Motion carried. <br />The Clark was instructed to put the matter of paying mileage for use of private <br />cars on the next agenda. <br />Mr. Fresonke had called the Clerk's office to say that he was installing a fence <br />along the North line of 79th street. Since there is only a 32 foot easement for <br />this street, this puts the fence practially on the driving surface of the Street. <br />Mr. Jaworski moved to authorize Mr. Gotwald to realign 79th Street. Seconded <br />by Mr. Zelinka. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Jaworski moved to adjourn at 9:45 P.M. Seconded by Mr. Zelinka.
