i 4
he plans to do.
Mr. Jawors,ki, suggested that he present some proof o
plans to do.
February 10, 1975
what kind of work he
Mr. Zelinka felt that if this is considered by the P &Z, they will
require some proof that the work is being done within the next year.
He would suggest that the permit, if one is granted, be for one year
with a renewable clause providing Mr. Tobish has proof of work.
Mr. Tobish will make sketches of the porposed location for the trailer
and have them in the Clerk's office by Wednesday. He is on the agenda
for the February 19, 1975 P & Z meeting.
Mr. Locher had researched the State Statutes on abandoned vehicles.
If a vehicle is over seven years, it may be sold as an abandoned
vehicle without notifying the owner. If the vehicles is under seven
years old, the owner must be notified.
Under old business, the position paper was discussed. There still needs
to be some finalizing done but it should be ready for the next
Council meeting.
The meeting with Mr. Boland scheduled for February 12, 1975 was discussed.
Mr. Locher, Mr. Carley and Mr. Starr will be requested to attend.
There was no new business.
On considering the requisitions, Mr. Zelinka questioned the price on
the new welder. He felt that one could be purchased at a lower price.
The price on the requisition was changed to not exceed $110.00. Mr.
McLean asked that on future requisitions that it be noted whether this
is a replacement of a piece of equipment on the acquisition of new
equipment.
Mr. McLean questioned Requisition #566 for a pre -inked return address
stamp for the police department. He felt that this was unnecessary.
Mayor Bohjanen asked what it was to be used for and how many times?
Mr. Myhre said it was for return addresses on the large envelopes and
to mark phamplets that they hand out.
Mr. Zelinka felt that a pre -inked stamp, unless it is used a lot, is
unsatisfactory because they tend to dry up in about one year. He also
felt that if this stamp is to be merely used for a. return address then
No, if it is to be used to mark documents, then, Yes. Since all mail
is delivered to the same address, Mr. Zelinka felt that a separate
return address stamp for the police department would appear as if they
were a separate unit apart from the rest of the City. He felt this
was a situation that should be avoided.
Mr. McLean suggested that a rubber stamp be checked into and that #566
be voided. He questioned #567. This is for $487.00 in shop replacement
parts. Mr. McLean asked Mr. Jaworski how long a period would this
cover. Mr. Jaworski said the last order was in 1973. Mr. McLean
questioned the advisability of carrying a two year inventory; could this
not be bought for just one year.
