X56 <br />MAY 12, 1975 <br />Mr. Zelinka reported that he had been appointed to the Commission to study <br />a suitable corridor for a high voltage line coming from Ely. He also re- <br />quested that he receive no salary and no expense checks for the month of <br />April since he was absent that month. <br />Mr. Locher reviewed the special assessment agreement with U. S. Lakes on <br />their second addition. He read a letter from Mr. Busch and his notes <br />taken at the special meeting setting up the manner in which the assessments <br />would be levied. He said that by 1977 the City would need a total of <br />$70,875.00 to repay the principal and interest on the $180,000.00 bond <br />issue. <br />Mr. Locher will talk to Mr. Busch and report at the next meeting. He felt <br />if NSP pays the deliquent assessments and taxes due on the lots that they <br />have foreclosed on, this will help a great deal. Mr. Jandric has an <br />agreement with NSP whereby he can repurchase these lots at a pre -set <br />price plus the deliquent assessments and taxes. <br />Mr. Gotwald had given the Clerk a copy of the road bond posted for <br />completion of the streets in Lakes Addition No. 1. Mr. Locher will <br />check into this to see if it is still in force and report at the next meeting. <br />Mr. Jaworski moved to approve requisitions #570 and 571. <br />Zelinka. Motion carried. <br />Mr. McLean moved to approve checks $6409 and 6410, 6411. <br />Jaworski.
