1 1 1 MAY 27, 1975 Mr. McLean asked that in the event this money was not forth coming, does the City then issue warrants? Mr. Marier suggested a special meeting to consider this. Mr. Marier moved to set a special meeting for Monday June 2, 1975 at 7:30 P.M. Seconded by Mr. McLean Motion carried. The motion approving the checks with the stated stipulations was carried. Mr. Locher had completed his review of the applications that had been received. The application of the V.F.W. requires the "Ten day written notice" clause to be added to the insurance and the Surety Bond is not in as yet. Mr. Zelinka moved to approve the application subject to receipt of these two items. Seconded by Mr. McLean. Motion carried. The applications submitted by Lawrence and Monica Cichy were in order except for the Ten day written notice clause. Mr. Jaworski asked what address was used on the applications? The address of the Oasis had been entered. Mr. Zelinka felt that he had no objections to this application being approved at this date but before active operations are started at that address the residency requirement must be met to the satisfaction of this Council. Mr. Zelinka moved to approve the applications subject to the addition of the Ten days written notice clause and the further stipulations as stated. Seconded by Mr. Marier. Motion carried. Mr. Henry Speiser's application for off -sale beer was in order. Mr. Jaworski moved to approve the application. Seconded by Mr. McLean. Motion carried. Mr. Rosengren's application was not in but the insurance needs the ten day written notice clause. Mr. Marier moved to approve when all papers are in order. Seconded by Mr. McLean. Motion carried. Mr. Gerald Beach, Tree Inspector, had arrived. He wanted to discuss the disposal site for the diseased trees that will have to be removed by the residents. The back portion of the Hall Property to the West of the Hall had been suggested. Whether the trees would be burned or chipped is optional. Mr. Marier repeated the information on being able to dispose of trees at the South end of Centerville Lake. Mr. Marier asked the Clerk to contact the County and ask that this time be extended for one week. The plans for taking in trees at this location should be finalized by that time. Mr. Beach suggested June 15, 1975 as a starting date. He presented some options for consideration by the Council. Any wood or just diseased trees? residents only or open to any persons? Gate fees or free? Mr. Marier felt that this would be for diseased trees only and with a form signed by Mr. Beach that would have to be turned in at the office before the people would be allowed to unload the trees.
