i 64 <br />JUNE 9, 1975 <br />Mayor Bohjanen thanked Mr. Cape for his report and suggested that the <br />suggestion for a private power source be studied for future emergencies. <br />Mr. Marier said that there are generators available near this area and he <br />will work with Mr. Cape on this. <br />Mr. McLean presented the Council with the name of Mr. Rodney Hanson <br />of 6325 Baldwin Lake Road as a pessible member of the Park Board. Mr. Hanson's <br />name had been submitted by Mr. Gerald Clausen. Mr. Hanson is a teacher in <br />the Robinsdale School System. Mr. McLean mooed to appoint Mr. Rodney <br />Hanson to the Park Board. Seconded by Mr. Marier. Motion carried. The <br />Clerk will contact. Mr. Hanson. <br />Mr. McLean alio reported that the backstops at the two new hall fields are up. <br />The Clerk was asked to contact Mr. Joe Davis for the installation of the <br />bases. <br />Mayor Bohjanen had also received a letter on this date - June 9 - from <br />the Metro Transit Commission announcing a public; hearing to be held on <br />June 3, 1975. This public hearing dealt with bus systems plans. Mr. McLean <br />felt that a letter should be written to the Transit Commission akking <br />that mailings on public <br />hearings be mailed before the meetings in order to <br />9 9 9 <br />give the Council members a change to attend these hearings. <br />Mr. Jaworski was not present for a road report, however, Mr. Marier noted that <br />preliminary patching had been done, but nothing since then. He felt that <br />this should be followed up and that all patching should be completed witin <br />the next two weeks. Mr. Marier felt that if this follow up work is not <br />done some of the streets will lose whatever surface they now have. Mr. <br />Jaworski had sent a list to Mr. Gotwald for consideration and computations <br />on cost. Mr. Gotwald said this work is almost complete. <br />Mr. Marier moved that ALL roads be patched within the net two weeks, Seconded <br />by Mc. McLean. Motion carried. <br />In connection with this, Mr. Marier noted the voucher for use of a private <br />car. He asked that this be held for consideration. <br />Mr. Marier felt that it is necessary to talk over the major road expenditures <br />needed. He moved to set a special meeting on June 30, 1975 at 7:30 P.M. for <br />this purpose. Seconded by Mr. McLean. Motion carried. <br />Mr. McLean noted that the parking area at Lino Park is staked and will be <br />blacktopped as soon as the contractor can get in. The entrances to the <br />parking area have been blocked. <br />Mr. Gotwald had no report. <br />Mr. Locher had looked over the applications for license renewal. Mr. Luther <br />LeVessuer's application was in order. Mr. Marier moved to approve. Seconded <br />by Mr. McLean. Motion carried. <br />Mr. L. E. Pomerleau, of the Blue Heron, had applied for On -Sale, Sunday, <br />Carbaret and 3.2 off -sale. The applications were in order, but Mr. Locher <br />questioned the residency. It would appear that at the present time, the <br />living quarters are not complete. Mr. Marier moved to hold this application <br />until the residency requirements are fulfilled. Seconded by Mr. McLean. <br />Motion carried. <br />
