FIFP JUNE 23, 1975 1 6 1 <br />1 <br />...Read a letter from North Central requesting a change in billing <br />procedures for the tank located at the wellhouse. Presently there is a <br />meter and the City is billed monthly. North Central would like to bill <br />as the tank is filled. Mr. Zelinka moved to authorize this change at the <br />next regular fill. Seconded by Mr. McLean. Motion carried. <br />...$290.00 had been received as the City's share of municipal fines. <br />...Read a letter from North Central asking for approval of a proposed 2" <br />gas main on Evergreen Trail in the Pine Vista Addition. After some <br />discussion, Mr. Marier moved to grant approval of this request providing <br />City Ordinance regulations are met and with the Engineer's approval. <br />Seconded by Mr. Zelinka. Motion carried. <br />...Read a letter from the County of Anoka dealing with the monies allocated <br />for summer Youth Employment. The City's share is $795.00. Mr. Zelinka <br />moved to authorize the Clerk to sign the forms. Seconded by Mr. Marier. <br />Motion carried. <br />...Read a letter from the Rice Creek Watershed Board stating that maintenance <br />work done on ditches will be assessed to either the City or the affected <br />property owners. Mr. Marier felt that this is the responsibility of the <br />RCWB and a letter to that effect should be written. Mr. Zelinka agreed <br />but felt that since there will be some work done by prisoners located at <br />the MMTC facilities before proceeding with further work, lets wait and <br />see what is accomplished. <br />...A request from Northwestern Bell to place buried cable on Farm Drive <br />122nd Avenue) just south of County Road No. 14 and West of I 35 E had <br />been received. Mr. Zelinka moved to approve this request contingent on <br />the Engineer's approval. Seconded by Mr. Marier. Motion carried with <br />Mr. Marier abstaining. <br />Mr. McLean reported on the Park Board meeting held on June 16, 1975. The <br />Board took the opportunity to tour the Park facilities and introduce Mr. <br />Hanson to the Parks within the City of Lino Lakes. The plans for the open <br />space were discussed. Many things are being considered but final plans will <br />not be completed until early next year. Mr. McLean and Mr. Clausen will keep <br />the Park Board and the Council informed of the actions of that Board. Mr. <br />Cape had requested the use of the warminghouse on Tuesday and Thursdays during <br />the month of July to hold gun training classes. The Park Board had recommended <br />approval of this request. Mr. Marier so moved. Seconded by Mr. McLean. <br />Motion carried. <br />Mr. McLean recommended the placing of a fence parallel with the driveway into <br />the City Hall about 25 feet West for parking. This fence to be placed so as <br />to bar all traffice from the Park property. Materials on hand to be used for <br />this. Seconded by Mr. 2elinka. Motion carried. <br />Mr. McLean asked if there was a name to be considered for the replacement on <br />the Park Board. Mayor Bohjanen said not at this time but he will have a name <br />by the next Council Meeting. <br />Mr. Marier reported on the meeting of the Planning and Zoning Board held on <br />June 18, 1975. A Mr. Ronald Grapp had applied for a Special Use Permit to <br />repair Volkswagons as a full time business on his property located on 20th <br />Avenue. Mr. Grapp had been instructed to return with all property owners <br />signatures necessary for consideration of this request. In the meantime, <br />Mr. Grapp had stopped in at the office and informed the Clerk that he no <br />longer want the Special Use Permit since he is moving out of state. <br />Mr. Marier moved to accept the withdrawal of this request and to refund the <br />filing fee of $25.00. Seconded bby Mr. Zelinka. Motion carried. <br />
