174 <br />JUNE 30, 1975 <br />Mr. Marier suggested that the patching on all the roads in the program <br />be done as soon as possible in time for the patches to settle before the <br />necessary improvements are made. <br />Mr. Marier moved to adjourn the meeting on the road subject at 8:15 P.M. <br />Mr. Jaworski seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />The meeting re- opened at 8:16 P.M. on an emergency basis to consider the <br />liquor application of Mr. Pomerleau, the new owner of the Blue Heron. <br />Mr. Locher went through the application, the insurance provides adequate <br />coverage, the bond is more than is required by the City. <br />Mr. Marier questioned the residency of the owner. Is he in fact a <br />resident of Lino Lakes as required by the Ordinance? <br />Mr. Locher said that Mr. Beverson is living on the premises while they <br />are having the living quarters remodeled. He is registered to vote. <br />Mr. Marier asked if he is a part owner of the business? <br />Mrs. ppmerleau said that he is ntt. <br />Mr. Marier said he thought the Ordinance stated that an owner or part <br />owner must be in residence in Lino Lakes. Mr. Locher confirmed this - <br />an owner must be a resident of the City of LIno Lakes. (Ordinance No. 31 A) <br />Mr. and Mrs. Charles Tutton were in the audience; they are the current <br />managers of the Blue Heron and have a share in the business. Mrs. Tutton <br />said they could arrange to have their mobilehome moved to Lino Lakes and asked <br />if that would meet4the residency requirements? <br />Mr. Locher said yes. <br />Mr. Locher also asked if Mr. Pomerleau has a building permit for the <br />remodeling and was told no. He said a permit would have to be issued <br />before any more work could be done. <br />Mr. Tutton said that the value of the remodeling was only $300.00. <br />Mr. Marier asked how long it would take the Tuttons to complete the move <br />to Lino Lakes. Mrs. Tutton said she thought it could be done within <br />4 weeks. <br />Mr. Marier moved to approve the application witk the following stipulations: <br />1. Mr. Pomerleau obtain a building permit immediately. <br />2. Permanent residency be established in accordance <br />with the terms of Ordinance No. 31 A withing 45 <br />days. <br />3. The square footage requirements of Ordinance <br />No. 56 A be adhered to for the living quarters. <br />Mr. Jaworski seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br />Marier moved to adjourn at 9:15 P.M.
