b <br />AUGUST 25, 1975 <br />The regular meeting of the Lino Lakes City Council was called to order <br />at 8:05 P.M. by Mayor Bohjanen. Council members present: Jaworski, <br />McLean and Zelinka. Absent: Marier, due to illness. Mr. Locher <br />was also present. <br />Mr. Jaworski moved to approve the minutes of August 11, 1975 as presented. <br />Seconded by Mr. McLean. Motion Carried. Mr. Zelinka noting that he only <br />voted on approval from the 9th paragraph on page 4. <br />The minutes of the Special Meeting held on August 20, 1975 was deferred due <br />to a lack of a quroum of members present at that meeting. This will be <br />considered at a later date. <br />A special 3.2% Beer permit had been issued to the Forest Lake Masonic <br />Lodge for August 24, 1975. This request had been presented after the <br />last Council Meeting. Approval had been obtained by oral conset. Mr. <br />Jaworski moved to retify the issuance of this permit. Seconded by Mr. <br />McLean. Motion carried. <br />The Clerk reported on the following items: <br />...Received $455.50 in Minicipal Fines <br />...Received $1,750.00 payment for sewage hauling for July and August. <br />...Letter had been written to Mr. Richard Klenck on Rolling Hills Drive <br />in conjunction with heavy equipment using that street. <br />...All members have copies of Rep. Oberstar's letter; Mr. Boland's letter <br />dealing with operation procedures of the Metropolitan Waste Control; <br />letter from Lorenz Bus Service; and the current Action Briefs. <br />...Read a letter from the Anoka County Comprehensive Health Department <br />on the subject of Community Needs Assessment. More discussion on <br />this subject when the Cityhas been contacted by the County. <br />The special hearing on re- naming "Lakeview Avenue" in the Otter Lake <br />Hills Plat to "Deer Pass Trail" was called to order at 8:15 P.M. <br />Mr. Locher read the publication notice that was published on August <br />14, 1975. <br />Mr. McLean gave the recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Board. That <br />Board had recommended approval of this request. <br />Mayor Bohjanen asked if there was anyone present who objected to this <br />name change. There was none. <br />Mayor Bohjanen asked if there was anyone present who was in favor of <br />this name change. Mr. Charles Prokop said, Yes, he is the petitioner. <br />Mr. McLean moved to approve an Ordinance renaming "Lakeview Avenue" and <br />the addition to that street as described in the legal description as <br />"Deer Pass Trail" and to accept this street for partial maintenance. <br />Seconded by Mr. Zelinka. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Zelinka moved to close the special hearing at 8:30 P.M. Seconded <br />by Mr. Jaworski. Motion carried. <br />Mr. McLean reported on the meeting of the Park Board held on August <br />18, 1975. The rental of the two soft ball diamonds at Sunrise Park for <br />a tournament was discussed. The Park Board had discussed fees. <br />
