uo
AUGUST 25, 1975
He plans to do the overlays first and then the seal coating. The work
should be finished in two weeks if the weather holds.
Mr. Jaworski asked if anything had been done about Maple Street and
Mr. Volk said not as yet. Mr. Jaworski instructed Mr. Volk to contact
Mr. Gotwald and figure out the drainage necessary on that street.
Mr. Volk had made a form dealing with the scheduled work and when
that work is accomplished. There were some suggested changes which
Mr. Volk will take care of.
Mr. Zelinka had no report.
Mr. Locher had researched the refunding of liquor license fees and
found this is prohibited by State Law. If Mr. Cichy wished to transfer
the license, this is permissable with Council approval. Also, there
cannot be two licenses issued to the same address. In order for the
new owners to receive a license, Mr. Cichy must return the one he has.
The Clerk was instructed to write and give Mr. Cichy this information.
Mr. Locher suggested that the new owners have a survey on the property.
There has been a complaint that patrons who park on private property
of the surrounding owners will have problems.
Mr. Zelinka moved to inform Mr. Cichy that the Council will consider a
transfer, but will not refund his license fee. Seconded by Mr. McLean.
Motion carried.
There was no old business for consideration. No New Business for
consideration.
Mr. Jaworski questioned the two requisitions for CD Uniforms. Are
these for two peopole or is it a duplication?
Mr. Cape said one is for a new member and one is for an old member who
does not have a uniform.
The requisition for the generator was cancelled. The units have been
sold. There was discussion on the size necessary to provide service
at this building. Mr. Cape was instructed to keep looking for such
a unit.
Mr. Cape said he is also requesting from surplus property a sno plow for
the 6x6. He doesn't know if he can get one or have any idea of when.
Mr. Zelinka asked the restrictions on the use of the 6x6. Is it
for emergency use only? Or for CD use only?
Mr. Cape said the truck is leased from the Army to be used by the City
in any capacity needed. It can be used in road work or whatever. He
had looked for a two thousand gallon slip in tank unity that could make
the truck available for fire fighting or used in flooding hockey rinks.
The possibility of obtaining a snow blower for that truck was discussed.
Mr. Cape did not know if such a unit is available or not but will check
