1 <br />SEPTEMBER 8, 1975 <br />Mr. James Ray, Insurance Agent, had called with the suggestion that possibly <br />the valuations on this building and the contents are about 10% under valued. <br />The Council requested the Clerk to check the files for the insurance specs <br />that were written. They felt that the insurance should be on a bid basis <br />with a due date of sometime in the late fall to coincide with the budget <br />hearings. Mr. Jaworski so moved. Seconded by Mr. McLean. Motion carried. <br />A letter from the Rice Creek Watershed Board giving approval for Mr. Robert <br />Emery to fill at 6931 Lake Drive but with stipulations as to where he can fill. <br />Read the answer from Mr. Richard Klenck of Rolling Hills Drive agreeing to <br />park his heavy equipment in St. Paul. <br />Mr. John Tobish had made application for permission to store a truck at <br />6192 Hodgson Road until he moved the trailer from that location. Mr. <br />Tobish said the trailer would be removed within two years or less. Mr. <br />Jaworski asked if the truck could be put in the back of the building and <br />Mr. Tobish said that it could. Mr. Tobish said that he is cleaning up the <br />fallen trees and will have the grass cut as sson as the trees are cleared. <br />He also had paint for the buildings and is planning on erecting a fence. <br />He will put the truck inside this fenced area and cover it. Mr. Zelinka <br />moved to approve this application with the stipulations that the truck be <br />put in the back and covered. Mr. Jaworski suggested that this permit <br />expire on June 30, 1976. Mr. Zelinka amended his motion to include this <br />suggestion; pro- rating the fee. Seconded by Mr. McLean. Motion carried. <br />Mayor Bohjanen asked the Clerk to read a letter from Senator Milton asking <br />the Council for their input as to needed legislation for the coming interim <br />session. He also reminded the Council of the breakfast meetings that are <br />held during this time. <br />Senator Milton is also holding a meeting in the Shoreview City Hall on <br />Wednesday, September 10, 1975 to discuss the Land Use Bill as proposed <br />by the Metropolitan Council. <br />Mayor Bohjanen reminded the Council of the Special Meeting with the Metro - <br />poolitan Staff personnel scheduled for September 9, 1975 and also that the <br />Budget Meetins start on Thursday, September 11, 1975. <br />Mr. Zelinka reported on the Special Planning and Zoning Board Meeting held <br />on September 3, 1975. This meeting was for the purpose of considering the <br />proposed mini storage building to be constructed by Glenn RehbeL,n just North <br />of the new structure now in process. The Planning and Zoning Board had <br />recommended approval of this building with the stipulations that it meet <br />the Building Inspector's approval, a 60' wide strip by 300r deep be left <br />for a future street, there be proper set backs and drainage, that wiring <br />meet state codes and that the plumbing be inspected and approved by the <br />City's Plumbing Inspector. Mr. Zelinka so moved, motion seconded by Mr. <br />Jaworski. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Jaworski presented the Council with a list of the streets that have <br />been either completed or partially done. The Seal coating on these streets <br />will be done by September 15, 1975 barring bad weather. <br />Mr. Jaworski reported at the Police Advisory Board Meeting, a request for <br />a resolution from this Council to Senator Milton and Representative Nelsen <br />
