m <br />NOVEMBER 24, 1975F., t3 5 <br />The regular meeting of the Lino Lakes City Council was called to order at <br />8:05 P.M. on November 24, 1975 by Mayor Bohjanen. Council members present: <br />Jaworski, Marier, McLean and Zelinka. Absent: None. Mr. Locher was <br />also present. <br />Mr. Zelinka moved to approve the Budget Minutes as presented. Seconded by <br />Mr. McLean. Motion carried. <br />The minutes of the November 10, 1975 Council Meeting were corrected as follows: <br />Page 3, paragraph 3, add the word "owner" after "property" in the second <br />line; <br />Page 4, in the Budget figures, the Fire Fund figure is $16,600; <br />Page 6, paragraph 2 "Mr. Zelinka moved to certify the budget; Mr. <br />McLean seconded the motion." <br />Mr. Marier moved to approve the minutes as corrected. Seconded by Mr. <br />Zelinka. Motion carried. <br />On consideration of the minutes from the Special Meeting held on <br />November 8, 19875, Mr. Zelinka moved to defer approval of these minutes <br />until the December 8, 1975 meeting. Seconded by Mr. Marier. Motion <br />carried. <br />The Clerk reported on the following items: <br />The Circle Pines offices had called. The meeting of the Circle Pines <br />Utility Commission will be held on Wednesday, November 26, 1975 at 6:00 P.M.; <br />The Metropolitan Council had mailed notice of the submission of a <br />Comprehensive Land Use Plan by Columbus Township. Each community has 30 <br />days in which to review and submit comments and recommendations. Mr. <br />Marier asked the Clerk to contact Columbus Township for a copy of this <br />plan <br />The October charges for hauling sewage in the amount of $950.00 had <br />been received. <br />The Fourth Quarter State Aid and Homestead Credit had been received. <br />This totaled $31,346.70. The break down is as follows: General Fund - <br />$11,750.70; Fire Fund - $1,209.60; Civil Defense Fund - $134.40; <br />Park Fund - $1,612.80; Road Fund - $10,591.20; Debt No. 1 - $1,478.40; <br />Police Fund - $3,763.20; Shop Fund - $806.40. <br />A letter from the Secretary of State on possible changes in the examination <br />and general use of voting machines and for voter registration. There <br />was no action from the Council on this; <br />The Municipal Fines for October totaled $163.00; <br />Received confirmation in writing from the Public Employees Retirement <br />Association that the Police Department cannot withdraw from that <br />orginazation even though they have a private retirement fund; <br />Mr. Henry Amundsen, Building Inspector, has submitted his resignation <br />effective December 31, 1975. The Council will consider this at a <br />later meeting. <br />
