December 22, 1975 <br />Mr. Schneider felt the reduction should be done by priority not across the board. <br />Mr. McLean said these figures are not hard and fast but the intent is this be done. <br />There was no new business and no business from the floor. <br />Mr. Jaworski moved to approve requisitions #637 and #638.' Seconded by Mr. <br />McLean. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Jaworski asked when the Attorney was asked to research the Open Meeting Law? <br />Mr. Locher said when the question of the held minutes was discussed and the Mayor <br />was accused of violating the Open Meeting Law. Mr. Jaworski asked if this was <br />done by Council action and Mr. Locher said that he did not recall. Mr. Jaworski <br />said he did not recall the Council taking such action and he would caution the <br />Council that members are using the Attorney for personal reasons and the City <br />is picking up the tab and that is not right. He said he would check back in the <br />minutes for verification of this matter. <br />Mr. Schneider asked if there is a list of unfinished business this would help <br />the new members. <br />Mayor Bohjanen said there are several items of unfinished business the Police <br />Contract, Dog Ordinance, Sewer Rates, Centerville Police Contract, Both Fire <br />Contracts. Contract with the Animal Control. The Mayor asked the Clerk to make <br />a list of these items for the new Council members and provide what information is <br />available on these matters. <br />Mr. Ringaman asked why unfinished items are not on the agenda. He said he could <br />go back through the minutes and find many things that were not carried through. <br />He felt there should be a continous list of unfinished business. <br />Mr. Jaworski said at one time all unfinished items appeared on the agenda until <br />they were taken care of but that the agenda had gotten too long and the practice <br />had been discontinued. <br />Mr. Schneider felt that a list should be made periodically. <br />Mr. Locher presented the Council with the deeds for the easement for Maple Street. <br />Mr. Jaworsk moved'to accept the deeds for this street. Seconded by Mr. McLean. <br />Motion carried. Mr. Locher said he will file these deeds immendiately. <br />Mr. McLean moved to approve checks #6786 through and including #6810. Seconded <br />by Mr. Jaworski. Motion carried with Mr. Jaworski voting, NO. <br />Mr. Jaworski moved to approve payroll checks #3298 through and including #3324. <br />Seconded by Mr. McLean. Motion carried. <br />Mr. McLean moved to adjourn at 10:00 P.M. Seconded by Mr. Jaworski.
