• <br />• <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 03-13 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PREPARATION OF REPORT ON IMPROVEMENT <br />CSAH 49 /CSAH 10 <br />WHEREAS, certain development proposals have identified the need to improve <br />portions of CSAH 49 (Hodgson Road) and CSAH 10 (Birch Street) to accommodate <br />their additional traffic generation; and <br />WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve CSAH 49 (Hodgson Road) between the Rice <br />Creek Bridge and a point approximately 1500 feet south of CSAH 10 (Birch Street) and <br />to improve CSAH 10 (Birch Street) from its intersection with CSAH 49 to a point <br />approximately 600 feet east of Ware Road, in accordance with the Anoka County <br />Highway Department project review letter, dated November 20, 2002; and <br />WHEREAS, the City's Engineer, TKDA, has submitted a proposal to perform such <br />services; and <br />WHEREAS, Spirit Hills, Inc., and Bruggeman Properties, LLC have agreed to equally <br />split the costs of the report preparation <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. That the proposed improvement be referred to TKDA for study and that they are <br />instructed to report to the council with all convenient speed advising the council in a <br />preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is necessary, cost - <br />effective, and feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in <br />connection with some other improvement, and the estimated cost of the <br />improvement as recommended. <br />2. That the City's Engineer shall not commence such activities until payment has been <br />received from Spirit Hills,. Inc., and Bruggeman Properties, LLC to equally split the <br />costs of the report preparation. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 27th day of January, 2003. <br />Ann , City Clerk <br />J.
