• • CITY OF LINO LAKES RESOLUTION NO. 03-13 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PREPARATION OF REPORT ON IMPROVEMENT CSAH 49 /CSAH 10 WHEREAS, certain development proposals have identified the need to improve portions of CSAH 49 (Hodgson Road) and CSAH 10 (Birch Street) to accommodate their additional traffic generation; and WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve CSAH 49 (Hodgson Road) between the Rice Creek Bridge and a point approximately 1500 feet south of CSAH 10 (Birch Street) and to improve CSAH 10 (Birch Street) from its intersection with CSAH 49 to a point approximately 600 feet east of Ware Road, in accordance with the Anoka County Highway Department project review letter, dated November 20, 2002; and WHEREAS, the City's Engineer, TKDA, has submitted a proposal to perform such services; and WHEREAS, Spirit Hills, Inc., and Bruggeman Properties, LLC have agreed to equally split the costs of the report preparation NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: 1. That the proposed improvement be referred to TKDA for study and that they are instructed to report to the council with all convenient speed advising the council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is necessary, cost - effective, and feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended. 2. That the City's Engineer shall not commence such activities until payment has been received from Spirit Hills,. Inc., and Bruggeman Properties, LLC to equally split the costs of the report preparation. Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 27th day of January, 2003. Ann , City Clerk J. Berge n, Mayor
