CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 03-58 <br />ACCEPTING PETITION FOR SURFACE WATER MANAGEMENT IMPROVEMENTS <br />AND AUTHORIZING PREPARATION OF A FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR PRAIRIE <br />FLOWER ROAD DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes has received a petition from residents of Prairie <br />Flower Road, west of West Shadow Lake Drive and south of Birch Street, requesting <br />preparation of a study on the feasibility of storm drainage improvements to their <br />properties, and <br />WHEREAS, in response to this petition, it is proposed to improve Prairie Flower Road <br />west of West Shadow Lake Drive and south of Birch Street constructing storm drainage <br />improvements and <br />WHEREAS, the City proposes to assess the benefited property for all or a portion of the <br />cost of the improvement, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, and Chapter 8 <br />of the Lino Lakes City Charter. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. That the proposed improvement be referred to the City Engineer for study and <br />that he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising <br />the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is <br />necessary, cost - effective, and feasible and as to whether it should best be made <br />as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the estimated <br />cost of the improvement as recommended. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 28th day of April, 2003. <br />Joh ' J.
