• <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 03-69 <br />AUTHORIZING EXPENDITURE OF $8,000 <br />FROM CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND 401 <br />FOR ADDITIONAL TESTING OF CIVIC COMPLEX BUILDING ENVELOPE <br />WHEREAS, mold was present in the Civic Complex in 2002, and <br />WHEREAS, it is crucial to locate the source of the problems in order to prevent future <br />problems, and <br />WHEREAS, independent third party analysis of the building shell has revealed potential <br />problems that should be tested further, and <br />WHEREAS, city consultants have estimated the cost for hiring a qualified firm to <br />perform the testing will be $8,000.00, and <br />WHEREAS, the funding source for these proposed improvements would be the Capital <br />Improvement Fund (401); <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Lino <br />Lakes authorizes staff to contract for additional testing of the Civic Complex building <br />shell at a cost not to exceed $8,000 and designates the Capital Improvement Fund (401) <br />as the funding source. <br />Approved by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 12TH day of May, 2003. <br />ATTEST: <br />Ann J.
