Q g` <br />March 13, 1978 <br />Mr. Zelinka moved to publish this information the last part of April, the clean up to be- <br />gin the 1st of May and the residents have until the 15th of May to comply with the Ordin- <br />ance. Seconded by Mr. McLean. Motion declared passed. <br />Mr. Schneider went through the financial report explaining some of the problems he has with <br />the form and some of the changes that will be made. <br />Mr. Schneider reported on the meeting held at the MMTC. The gates will be closed sometime <br />around the 1st of April; there will be an open house on the 2nd of April for the Council and <br />the public. The papers will have publicity on this. April 29, 1978 is law day and there <br />will be open house and exhibits at the Circle Pines Fire Barn. This will also be the day <br />for obtaining shots for dogs and licenses will also be on sale that day. More on this at <br />a later meeting. <br />Mr. Zelinka said he will have two or three P. A. systems here for evaluation before a purchase <br />is suggested. He estimated the cost at approximately $400.00, without a recorder. This <br />would be just the cost of the system, it was felt the installation could be done by our <br />people. Mr. Zelinka was asked if the mikes would be mobile or stationary and he said, ei- <br />ther. The general consensus of the Council was they should be mobile. <br />A gentleman from the audience asked about the completion of the end of Totem Trail in Shen- <br />andoah. The Engineer will be contacted on this matter. <br />There was also a questions about the completion of the park along the back edge of thisplat, <br />who will develop? It was felt this is a City development problem and will take some time. <br />Mayor Karth suggested these residents attend a Park Board meeting and talk to them. <br />There is also a problem with stagnant water in the ditches. The men asked if the ditches <br />could be cleaned to get the water flowing. The Engineer will be consulted on this matter. <br />The matter of the Information Guides were discussed. The Clerk was instructed to enlarge, <br />clean up the front and get 1500 printed. <br />Mr. Bill Houle had requested the use of the City Hall for a political meeting on March 21, <br />1978. Mr. McLean so moved to approve. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion declared passed. <br />Mr. McLean moved to approve requisitions #816 - 819 & 820. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. <br />Motion declared passed. <br />Mr. Zelinka moved to approve checks #8649 through and including #8691, with #8661 and #8690 <br />being voided. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion declared passed. <br />Mr. McLean moved to adjourn at 1l:15 P.M. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz.
