The Clerk was instructed to com- <br />pute the acreage of the lands involved, compute this acreage <br />to dollars, deduct from the 10% requirement, this would then <br />give the Park Board the amount to be spent on the develop- <br />ment. <br />Mr. Gotwald said he had talked with Mr. Glenn Rehbein and the <br />street by the lift station will be resurfaced probably in July. <br />The bids on LaMotte Road will be opened on July 10, 1978. <br />Mr. Locher said that Mr. Carpenter had cotacted him as to the <br />requirements for rezoning the lands to the East of his land <br />from residential to commercial. He had said that he would be <br />in the City offices tomorrow (June 27. 1978) for the necessary <br />forms. It was noted that the owner of the land must make ap- <br />plication Tor the rezoning, and all persons within 300' of the <br />property lines must be notified, This must also be published. <br />Mr. Locher had checked the applications for liquor renewal. <br />Ross's Corner Bottle Shoppe and Shidon are the only two that <br />are complete. Mr. Zelinka moved to approve these renewals. <br />Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion declared passed. <br />Since the remainder of the licenses expire June 30, 1978 and <br />there is not another Council meeting before then, Mr. Zelinka <br />moved to approve the remaining subject to Mr. Locher's approval. <br />Seconded by Mr. Schneider. Motion declared passed. <br />Chief Myrhe asked how is Mr. Kirschbaum's approval to return <br />to work to be handled? Will the Council require another Doc- <br />tor's certificate. <br />Mr. Locher said there must be a letter from Mr. Kirschbaum's <br />Doctor stating his capabilities and limitations. This matter <br />must also be cleared with Mr. McGowan. <br />Chief Myhre said he will be gone for two weeks vacation be- <br />ginning July 17, 1978 and asked that Mr. Costa be appointed <br />temporary acting sergent. Mr. Zelinka moved to approve this <br />request. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion declared passed. <br />Mr. Locher reported to the Council on the request to purchase <br />photographs Cheif Myhre had taken of a Motorcycle accident on <br />Highway #49 and County Road 'J'. The money realized from this <br />would be used for the camera fund to replace film and defray <br />cost of processing. Mr. Locher found no problems with this <br />action. Mr. Zelinka moved to approve. Seconded by Mr. <br />Kulaszewicz. Motion declared passed. <br />On considering the Minnesota Department of Transportation's <br />agreement for the lights to be installed at Highway 49 and <br />Lake Drive, Mr. McLean maved to pass the following Resolution; <br />BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Lion Lakes enter into <br />an agreement with the State of Minnesota, Department of Tran- <br />sportation, for the following purposes, to wit: <br />
