The plans are in the office for Mr. Mobley's inspection. Mr. Zelinka moved to approve this City's participation in the Shade Tree program for 1979. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion declared passed. Mr. Zelinka moved to approve requisitions #881 through and including #886. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion declared passed. Mr. Zelinka moved to approve Checks #9322 through and including #9337, Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion declared passed. Mr. Zelinka moved to adjourn at 10:45 P.M. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Aye. These minutes were corrected and approved at the regular meeting held on January 8, 1979. Edna L. Sarner, Clerk- Treasurer December 28, 1978 The special meeting of the Lino Lakes City Council was called to order at 7:00 P.M. on December 28, 1978. Council members present; Kulaszewicz, McLean, Schneider. Absent; Zelinka. This meeting has been called for the purpose of replacing or re- appoint- ing members of the various boards whose terms expire December 31, 1978. The Planning and Zoning Board was considered firts. Mr. James Hill and Mr. William Bohjanen are the members whose terms expire. Several residents of the City had called and asked for consideration as a member of this Board. After discussion and consideration of all persons, Mr. McLean moved to appoint Mr. Larry Johnson and Mr. Jerry Heath as members of the Palnning and Zoning Board for three year terms, subject to acceptance. Seconded by Mr. Schneider. Motion declared passed. The matter of the Personnel Commission was considered next. One member had resinged prior to the end of the year and two other member's terms expire. There were several persons for consideration as members of this Commission. Mr. McLean moved to appoint Mr. Jim Arntzen, Mr. Greg Kliner, and Mrs. Susan DeNuccio to serve on this Commission, subject to acceptance. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion declared passed. The matter of the Park, Recreation and Enviornmental Commission was con- sidered next. After quite a lot of discussion, Mr. Kulaszewicz moved to appoint the following persons to serve on this Commission. Mr. Larry Crouse, Mr. Charles Cheesebrough and Mr. Milt Jorgernson, subject to acceptance. Seconded by Mr. McLean. Motion decalred passed. The Clerk was instructed to send 'Thank You' letters to all retiring
