204 <br />January 8, 1979 <br />Mr. Zelinka gave a report of the Park Board meeting held on January <br />2, 1979. <br />Mr. Zelinka moved that all members of standing Commissions be com- <br />pensated in some manner for meeting attendance. Seconded by Mr. McLean. <br />Motion declared passed with Mr. Schneider voting, No. <br />The Clerk was instructed to prepare a map of all plats for the hearing <br />on the hunting boundaries. <br />Mr. Schneider had been concerned about exceeding the 7% limitation <br />placed on all increases as suggested by the President. The information <br />from the League of Minnesota Cityes says, if communities exceed this <br />proposed limitation, there are no provision for penalty to the communities. <br />Mr. Zelinka moved to place a moratorium on all subdividing of lands by <br />meets and bounds for development purposes. This moratorium to be in <br />effect until an ew ordinance is written considering the inclusion of <br />such subdividing under the provision of park fund requirements. Seconded <br />by Mr. McLean. Motion declared passed. <br />The Clerk asked for confirmation of the Clerk- Bookkeeper's salary - is <br />this to be hourly wage or is she to be salaried: The salaried wage <br />is the one that was approved with the budget. This was confirmed by the <br />Council - the Clerk- Bookkeeper is to be a salaried employee. <br />The Clerk is to mail a copy of Mr. Mobley's letter to Mrs. Marilyn Mann <br />to Mr. Locher. <br />The Clerk was instructed to contact Mrs. Billik on the progress of her <br />new borne. <br />Mr. Francis Foley asked the Council for permission to install a wood <br />burning stove. He had started and had been red tagged. The Clerk said <br />she would try to clear this matter and asked that Mr. Foley call her. <br />Mr. Zelinka moved to approve Requisistion #887. Seconded by Mr. McLean. <br />Motion declared passed. <br />Mr. McLean moved to approve checks #9354 through and including #9385. <br />Seconded by Mr. Zelinka. Motion declared passed. <br />Mr. Zelinka moved to adjourn at 10:15 P.M. Seconded by Mr, Schneider. <br />Aye. <br />These minutes were considered and approved at the regular Council meeting <br />held on January 22, 1979. <br />Edna L.
