Motion declared passed. <br />Mr. McLean moved to approve checks #9421 through and including #9465. <br />Seconded by Mr, Kulaszewicz. Motion declared passed. <br />Mr. Kulaszewicz moved to adjourn at 11:00 P.M. Seconded by Mr. McLean. <br />Aye. <br />These minutes were considered and approave at the regular Council <br />meeting held on February 26, 1979. <br />Edna L. Sarner, Clerk - Treasurer <br />February 26, 1979 <br />The regular meeting of the Lino Lakes City Council was called to order at <br />8:00 P.M., February 26, 1979 by Mayor Karth. Council members present; <br />Kulaszewicz, McLean, Schneider, Absent; Zelinka. Mr. Locher and Mr. <br />Gotwald were also present. <br />Mr. Kulaszewicz moved to approve the minutes of February 12, =1979 as <br />presented. Seconded by Mr. Schneider. Motion declared passed.. <br />The Clerk presented the following items for Council consideration: <br />..A copy of a letter sent to Mr. Short on a meeting scheduled by the <br />County asking Mr. Short to attend. Mr. McLean moved that a letter be <br />written to Mr. Crosswhite stating that members of this Council are unable <br />to attend meetings scheduled during the day, but would be very willing to <br />meet with him in the evening to discuss the plans. Seconded by Mr. <br />Schneider. Motion declared passed. Mr. Gourley will be contacted to <br />attend this meeting. <br />..Chief Myhre had recomputed the contract with the City of Centerville <br />for Police coverage with credit to that City of the State Aid received <br />by this City. Mr. Schneider moved to approve the contract with the new <br />figure. Total cost to Centerville for the year 1979 will be $19,148.60. <br />Seconded by Mr. McLean. Motion declared passed. <br />..A11 Council members have a copy of the letter received from WCCO on <br />the special use permit. Mr. McLean moved this matter be presented to the <br />Planning and Zoning Board for reconsideration. Seconded by Mr. Schneider. <br />Motion declared passed. <br />..The matter of the contract with the animal control was discussed. Mr. <br />Schneider moved to approve the contract with Baline Midway All Pets. <br />Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion declared passed. <br />..The matter of naming the road into the Acton Company was considered. <br />Mr. McLean moved to approve the request to name this "Phelps Road" <br />Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion declared passed. <br />..Municipal fines received for the month of January was $212.17. <br />Mayor Karth introduced Mr. Andy Gibas, of the Circle Pines Utility <br />Commission, who gave background information on the establishment of tle <br />franchise with the City of Lino Lakes. He also presented his reasoning III <br />for allowing Circle Pines Utltity to service Ulmer's Rice Lake Addition. <br />Mayor Karth had a question as to the difference in the allocation of <br />costs - if this is one system, why are the allocation different? Why <br />is the Circle portion in the black and the Lino Lakes portion in the red? , <br />
