February 26, 1979 <br />Mr. Gibas said the method of allocating the costs was established by <br />the Public Examiner at the beginning and admitted that perhaps this <br />should be looked at for a more equitable split. <br />On the matter of Ulmer's Rice Lake Addition, Mr. Gibas felt this was a <br />misunderstanding on Mr. Ulmer's part. He was told to prepare the plans <br />and specifications for the installa tion of the system into his plat and <br />have it approved by the City of Lino Lakes. Mr. Ulmer only presented a <br />final plat. Mr. Gibas said the commission is willing to provide anything <br />required by this Council for service to that area. <br />Mayor Karth asked for a copy of the Utility Commission's minutes of <br />their next meeting and this matter will be put on the agenda of the ltt <br />meeting in March. <br />Mr. Gibas was thanked for his time and information. <br />The Public Hearing on the Rezoning of Mr. Eugene Mobley was called to <br />order at 9:15 P.M. <br />Mr. Locher read the notice of legal publication and presented the Clerk <br />with a copy of the list of persons to whom amiled notices were sent. <br />Mr. McLean presented the Planning and Zoning Board's recommendation for <br />approval of this rezoning. The audience was asked for comments - there <br />was none. Council members were polled for comment - there was none. <br />Mr. McLean moved to approve the rezoning of lands of Mr. Eugene Mobley <br />from Limited Business to General Business. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. <br />Motion declared passed. <br />Mr. McLean moved to close the hearing at 9:25 P.M. Seconded by Mr. <br />Kulaszewicz. Motion declared passed. <br />Mayor Karth reported that the City of Lino Lakes has dropped from 2nd <br />place to 20th place in the rating of taxes paid by the residents. <br />He also reminded the Council of the special meeting set for March 7, 1979 <br />at 7:30 P.M. <br />Mayor Karth turned the cahir over to Acting Mayor Schneider for the re- <br />zoning request from El Rehbein & Son for Outlots in the Country Lakes Add. <br />Mr. McLeam presented the action and discussion of the Planning and <br />Zoning Board. <br />Mr. Theimich presented a signed petition from that area objecting to the <br />rezoning to R -5 and several ideas of the residents supporting their <br />objections. <br />Mr. Ben Benson confirmed Mr. Theimich's statements and said 90 to 95% <br />of the residents supported this position. <br />Mr. McLean moved to set a public hearing on the rezoning application for <br />March 12, 1979 at 9:00 P.M. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion de- <br />clared passed. <br />Mayor Karth resumed his seat. <br />
