Fes`. <br />July 9, 1979 <br />in reference to LMV and EMV and the taxes involved. Mr. Locher said <br />he will continue to monitor this action but felt there is no action needed <br />from this Council. <br />..Mr. Thomas Langer had dropped off a copy of his request to the DNR for <br />clearing some lake shore land on Bald Eagle Lake for use as a boat launch. <br />No action is needed by this Council. <br />Under the Mayor's report, Acting Mayor Schneider reported on the replace- <br />ment of the locks on all outer doors. All Council members have new keys. <br />The question of the moratorium on moving in buildings was introduced. <br />Mr. McGreary had bought a home to be moved onto his property. <br />Mr. McLean explained the requirements for obtaining a permit. A full <br />set of plans. location on the property, finished appearance. Mr. McLean <br />said the new forms have been prepared and a revised copy is available <br />for Council consideration. This will give the Council better control <br />on the moving of buildings in or out of the City. <br />Mr. McLean suggested an Ordinance change in the fee section of the <br />existing Ordinance. Mr. Locher said he would draft this change. <br />Mike Huberty questioned the construction of a home on the lot facing <br />Birch Stree in Shenandoah III. The general consensus of the Council was <br />that this could be done since there is adequate frontage. <br />Mr. Zelinka presented the actions of the Park Board. He reported to the <br />Council that the application for the Grant for the construction of the <br />all purpose building at City Hall Park had been completed on time. Mrs. <br />Anderson had received a call this date, stating that two members of the <br />State Planning Avency will be here on Monday, July 16, 1979, for an <br />inspection tour. <br />Plans for the building and the 5 year plan for the development of the <br />Park were looked over by the Council. <br />In connection with this matter, Mr. Zelinka moved to authorize payment <br />to Mr. Larry Crouse for his assistance in preparing the grant application. <br />Seconded by Mr. McLean. Motion declared passed. <br />Acting Mayor Schneider called the continued hearing on W &G Rehbein's <br />Peltier View Plat to order at 8:30 P.M.. Due to the delay by Rice <br />Creek Watershed Board in their action, Mr. McLean moved to continue this <br />hearing until August 13, 1979 at 9:00 P.M. Seconded by Mr. Zelinka. <br />Motion declared passed. <br />Mr. McLean reported on the following actions taken by the Planning and <br />Zoning Board at their June 20, 1979 meeting. <br />The first item on the agenda was a variance request by Mr. Lyndal Nelson, <br />Lot 12, Block 2, Sunset Oaks. This dealt with side setback requirements. <br />The Planning and Zoning had recommended denial of this variance. Mr. <br />McLean moved to instruct Mr. Mobley to report on this situation for <br />resolving the problem by means other than a variance. This to be pre- <br />sented at the next Planning and Zoning Board meeting and the next Council <br />meeting. Seconded by Mr. Zelinka. Motion declared passed. <br />..Mrs. Tverberg, 6388 Hodgson Road, had applied for a special use permit <br />to raise chickens on a parcel of land less than 5 acres. The Planning <br />and Zoning Board had recommended approval of this request with the <br />stipulation that this permit be reviewed annually and that the chickens <br />
