He said he was removing some <br />of the mounds and cleaning up the area. <br />Mr. McLean suggested that Mr. Gotwald set some rules for the removal of <br />the old stock piles. Mr. Zelinka suggested some general elevations. <br />Mr. McLean moved to suspend the red tag, Mr. Gotwald set some standards <br />for a basis for a mining permit. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion <br />declared passed. <br />Mr. Bric was present to discuss the problems with Andall Street. He <br />was told what Mr. Gotwald had reported at the last Council meeting. <br />There is also a feasibility report from Mr. Gotwald. The Clerk is to <br />make copies of this report and the attached maps and mail to Mr. Bric <br />and Mr. Munchow. <br />Mr. Schneider gave a financial report and explained the differences in <br />the planned income and the actual. He also reported on a coversation <br />with Mr. Hodge. Mr. Hodge had been in the office on this date, will <br />return on Thursday, should have a basic analysis ready for the July <br />23rd meeting. There will be a date set for a decision on qualifications, <br />salary, etc. Felt this should be completed by the end of August. <br />Chief Myhre discussed the billings to the Anoka County Park Department <br />and the Social Services. These billings have not been paid. The Clerk <br />is to get this correspondence for Chief Myhre to consult. <br />Mr. Kulaszewicz presented a League of Minnesota Cities informational <br />booklet on the establishing of a Police Commission. He asked the <br />Council members to read and comment. <br />Mr. Locher repoted that he and been contacted by the VFW for the holding <br />of a two day soft abll tournament. He had advised them on the need <br />for insurance. He has not had further contact. <br />Mr. Locher reported on some research being done on the County level <br />into the assessments on drainage ditches. There are deliquent assessments <br />being discovered and Mr. Locher thought there could be residents of <br />Lino Lakes affected by this matter. <br />Mr. McLean requested that the matter of the hunting ordinance be put <br />on the next agenda. The Clerk is to pull the minutes of the special <br />meeting held on that subject. <br />There was some discussion on the matter of the Building Inspector not <br />being certified and his application must be in to the State by Wednesday <br />of this week. <br />Chief Myhre presented the subject of license for Police officers and <br />the necessity for them to have 60 hours training to maintain the license. <br />The general consensus of most Cities is thattthis is the responsibility <br />of the Police Officer. <br />Mr. Zelinka moved that the Police Officers are to be responsible for <br />the obtaining of the license and for the required training to maintain <br />their license. All costs involved is to be paid by the Officer. <br />Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion declared passed. <br />On considering the requisitions, #904,hold; #917 & 918 - approve, #921 - <br />cancell. #922- approve. Mr. Zelinka so moved. Seconded by Mr. McLean. <br />
