State Aid - $31,990.75; Homestead Credit Aid - $22,759.31; <br />Attached Machinery Aid - $1,306.50. (The fiscal disparity for the 1st <br />half was $6,454.98). <br />..The Special Seminar announcement from the Association of Metropolitan <br />Municipalities was discussed. The agenda deals with the levy limit <br />and how this applies to locat government. It was suggested that Mr. <br />Schneider attend. <br />..Municipal fines for the month of June was $644.17., <br />..North Central Public Service announced an increase in gas rates. <br />..A petition from the residents of Shenandoah requesting the development <br />of the park in that area had been forwarded to Mr. Glenn Rehbein. Mayor <br />Karth had called Mr. Rehnein's office and found he is out of town. <br />This matter is to be put on the August 13, 1979 agenda. <br />On the subject of the juvenile detention facility, Mayor Karth had <br />called Anoka County and talked to a Mr. Dale Winch, who compiled the <br />list of sites. He had noted 'community acceptance' on the Lino Lakes <br />sites for the reason that some of the service groups in this community <br />had worked with the juveniles. At this point in time, the Council has <br />not taken any action. These sites are being- considered only. Mr. <br />Schneider suggested that someone from this Community should be a member <br />the their Advisory Committee. The various sites were discussed and <br />the letter forwarded to Mr. Burman was read. <br />The matter of having someone from this community on the Advosory Board <br />wil be checked. When some information is available, Mr. Bill Bohjanen <br />will be called to perhaps serve in this capacity. <br />Mayor Karth reported that Mr. Locher and he will meet with County <br />Attorney Johnson to check the files on the Gene Mobley matter. <br />They will also discuss the matter of payment for Police Coverage at the <br />current location for the junveniles. It was suggested and agreed that <br />Chief Myhre should also be present. <br />Mr. Kulaszewicz had no police report with the exception of the notice <br />that Mr. Jeffrey Kirschbaum had applied for disability benefits to PERA. <br />This form had been filled out by the Clerk and Mr. Locher is checking. <br />Mr. Locher said the information provided was correct. <br />Mr. Schneider reported that he had received a report from Mr. Hodge. <br />Mr. Hodge has completed his preliminary work and would like to meet <br />with the Council to present his recommendations. <br />Mr. Schneider moved that a special meeting be set for August 1, 1979 <br />at 8:00 P.M. to meet with Mr. Hodge. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. <br />Motion declared passed. <br />Mr. McLean questioned the cost and Mr. Schneider said $300.00 to date. <br />Further costs will be discussed at the special meeting. <br />Mr. Schneider had also received information on long term disability <br />insurance. Mr. Schneider moved ti invite Mr. Keeney to discuss this <br />insurance at 9:00 P.M. on August 1, 1979 special meeting. Seconded <br />by Mr. Kulaszewicz.
