This will be for the <br />purpose of negotiating a solution to this problem. Seconded by Mr. <br />McLean. Motion declared passed. <br />..Mr. David Hahn has purchased the home at 1990 Birch Street and had <br />started tearing down a portion of the structure. He had been redtaged <br />and asked to appear before the Planning adn Zoning Board. This Board <br />had looked at a dketch of a home Mr. Hahn plans to construct. He is <br />currently living in the newer portion of the building. The Planning <br />and Zoning chose to consdier this action as a remodeling project - <br />not the construction of a new home. <br />Mr. McLean moved to issue a demolition permit and a building permit <br />for remodeling according to specifications of the State Building Code <br />to be completed in one year. Seconded by Mr. Zelinka. Mr. Zelinka added <br />that if at any time during construction the building is unsafe or un- <br />suitable for living quarters, the occupancy may be revoked. Mr. McLean <br />accepted the addition to the motion. The motion declared passed. <br />Mr. Dennis Cunningham had applied for a permit for a driveway of over <br />300 feet. The Planning adn Zoning Board had recommended approval of <br />this request with teh stipulations that Mr. Cunningham maintain this <br />driveway in a manner so as to provide access for emergency vehicles <br />and to know that no other homes can be constructed using this driveway <br />for street frontage. Mr. McLean moved to approve this variance with <br />the above stipulations included in the variance and sent to Mr. <br />Cunningham by registered mail. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion <br />declared passed. <br />Mr. Tim Rehbine had asked for information as to rezoning lots facing <br />77th street in Carole's Estates to duples - R2. There will be more at <br />a later date. <br />The Palnning and Zoning had asked Mr. Locher to update Ordinance #20 <br />and his recommendations had been presented to the Board for consideration. <br />It has also been suggested that this ordinance be expanded to include <br />all Board. He asked the Council to consider these recommendations. <br />Mr. LeRoux had been asked to attend this meeting to discuss his mining <br />operations and the condition of 64th Street. There was discussion on <br />the condition of this treet and Mr. LeRoux explained his operation. <br />He will be working in a two acre area only until that is at the level <br />he desires and another area will be worked out. <br />Mr. Gotwald said a proper road should be installed so it would not break <br />up under heavy use. Mr. LeRoux agreed to put in the proper street. He <br />will meet with Mr. Gotwald to work this out. <br />Mr. McLean felt that Mr. LeRoux is now operating a hauling business out <br />of lands zoned asAg with the parking of machinery and equipment which <br />constitutes a business operation. Mr. LeRoux was informed that he should <br />apply for a special use permt for this operation and appear before the <br />Planning and Zoning Board. <br />Mr. Richard Klenck had been asked to appear in conjunction with the <br />parking of heacy equipment at his home on Rolling Hills Drive. <br />Mr. Klenck said he only owns two dump trucks - he does not haul in or <br />out - he operates as a sub- contractor and parks the empty trucks at his <br />
