He is <br />therefore, requesting that this property be rezoned to PUD so <br />that both properties (Soukup and Barott) can be developed <br />together. Stipulations approved for the original PineRidge <br />Addition (Soukup property) will be applied to the Barott <br />property. <br />The route for the Reshanau Lake Trunk Sewer has been established <br />through this property and an advertisement for bids on the <br />improvement will be taken in June. Although the Barott's had <br />registered a legal objection to their proposed assessments for <br />this improvement, they will withdraw the objection providing the <br />property can be developed as requested. <br />Council Member Reinert expressed concern that requests for <br />rezones such as this request have frequently been before the <br />Council. He asked that when property is originally zoned, every <br />effort be made to be sure the property can be developed within <br />that zoning. <br />Mayor Bisel opened the public hearing at 8:05 P.M. There were no <br />comments from the audience. <br />Council Member Bohjanen moved to close the public hearing at 8:06 <br />P.M. Council Member Neal seconded the motion. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />Council Member Neal moved the first reading of Ordinance No. 09 - <br />91 that will rezone the Barott property from R -1X to PUD <br />incorporating the requirements recommended by the DRB. Council <br />Member Bohjanen seconded the motion. <br />VOTING ON THE MOTION: <br />Bisel <br />Neal <br />Bohjanen <br />Reinert El <br />Kuether ❑ <br />Absent: Kuether <br />Motion carried. <br />PUBLIC HEARING, SEWER AND WATER RATE STUDY, RESOLUTION <br />NO. 49 — 91, DARRELL SCHNEIDER <br />Mr. Schneider explained that the Council did consider this matter <br />in 1988 and set utility rates, the most recent effective January <br />1, 1989. TKDA, with the participation of the City Staff and <br />consultants, has completed an analysis of the Sewer and Water <br />Enterprise Fund.
