172 <br />COUNCIL MEETING MAY 28, 1991 <br />Council Member Reinert explained that the bottom line is that a <br />resident will never have to pay an assessment unless he petitions <br />to hook up to services. Mrs. Rector asked if interest will be <br />added to the assessment quoted tonight. Mr. Schneider explained <br />interest will not be added, however, the landowner will pay <br />according to what would be assessed in the year that the <br />residence is hooked up. <br />Council Member Reinert moved to close the public hearing at 7:54 <br />P.M. Council Member Bohjanen seconded the motion. The developer of PineRidge Addition has submitted a <br />preliminary plat for this property and is asking that the area be <br />rezoned to Planned Unit Development (PUD) so that lot widths and <br />R -1 housing can be developed as well as R -1X.
