266 <br />COUNCIL MEETING <br />VOTING ON THE MOTION: <br />Bisel <br />Neal <br />Abstained: none <br />Bohjanen <br />Reinert <br />Kuether <br />JULY 8, 1991 <br />Motion carried unanimously. Resolution No. 63 - 91 can be found <br />at the end of these minutes. <br />Resolution No. 64 - 91 Receiving Report and Call Improvement <br />Hearing for Storage for Water System (Elevated Water Storage <br />Facility) - Mr. Schneider gave a brief background on this matter <br />and referred to the brief work session held just prior to this <br />Council meeting. Three (3) different types of elevated water <br />storage systems were presented to the Council at that time. Mr. <br />Schneider recommended that the Council not consider the <br />Ellipsoidal system but consider taking bids on both the <br />Spheroidal and Fluted Column systems. He also recommended that <br />the Council consider additional options that could be bid at the <br />same time such as storage at the base of the elevated tank. <br />Council Member Kuether moved to approve Resolution No. 64 - 91 <br />Receiving Report and Calling Improvement Hearing for Storage for <br />Water System (Elevated Water Storage Facility) for the two (2) <br />types of water storage recommended by Mr. Schneider and also to <br />take bids for both a 750,000 gallon and 1,000,000 gallon tank for <br />each design. Council Member Neal seconded the motion. <br />VOTING ON THE MOTION: <br />Bisel <br />Neal <br />Abstained: none <br />Bohjanen <br />Reinert <br />Kuether <br />Motion carried unanimously. Resolution No. 64 - 91 can be found <br />at the end of these minutes. <br />Resolution No. 65 - 91 Ordering Plans and Specifications for <br />Storage for Water System (elevated Water Storage Facility) <br />Council Member Kuether moved to approve Resolution No. 65 - 91 <br />Ordering Plans and Specifications for Storage for Water System <br />the first two (2) designs and for the two (2) different sizes as <br />noted above.
