306 <br />Council Member Neal said he was not sure who prepared the salary <br />recommendations, the Administrator or the Administrative <br />Assistant. Mayor Bisel said it did not matter, the Administrator <br />is responsible for the content. Council Member Reinert asked <br />where the money will come from to balance the budget for <br />salaries. Mr. Schumacher explained that the money will come from <br />the budgeted reserve for personnel. <br />VOTING ON THE MOTION: <br />Bisel <br />Neal <br />Bohjanen <br />Reinert <br />Kuether <br />Abstained: none <br />Motion carried. <br />Resolution No. 70 - 91 can be found at the end of these minutes <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Consideration of a Cabaret License for Lino Lakes Lioness Club <br />for Lino Days - Mrs. Anderson explained that the second annual <br />Lino Days will be held August 17, 1991 at Sunrise Park. A beer <br />license was approved at the July 8, 1991 meeting. The Lioness <br />Club is asking that a Cabaret License be approved and the license <br />fee waived. <br />Council Member Bohjanen moved to approve the Cabaret License for <br />the Lino Lakes Lioness Club and waive the license fee. Council <br />Member Kuether seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Consideration of Financial Assistance for Lino Days - Mr. <br />Schumacher explained that the Lioness Club has asked for <br />financial assistance in promoting Lion Days this year. In <br />addition, staff has been discussing the matter of an all city <br />celebration and making the event a stronger event. The Lino <br />Lakes Recreation Supervisor will be assisting in preparing <br />athletic events. <br />Mr. Ray Johnson explained that trophies will be needed to present <br />to winners of athletic events. Financial help is needed to pay <br />for the trophies as well as to pay for some of the advertising. <br />Mr. Johnson said that $200.00 would be appreciated. <br />Council Member Reinert moved to approve the Cabaret License, <br />waive the fee and approve the donation of $200.00 to the Lino <br />Lakes Lioness Club. Council Member Kuether seconded the motion. <br />After further discussion regarding the amount of the City <br />donation, Council Member Neal moved to amend the motion to read <br />$400.00 donation.
