1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />COUNCIL MEETING <br />JUNE 12, 1995 <br />Resolution No. 95 - 69 can be found at the end of these minutes. <br />Consideration of Resolution No. 95 - 71 Ordering Preparation of <br />Plans and Specifications for Well No. 4 and Wellhouse - Mr. <br />Powell explained that a public hearing for this project was held <br />at the regular Council meeting on May 22, 1995. Ordering plans <br />and specification at this time will allow the well drilling to <br />begin later this summer with wellhouse construction to be <br />completed by the Summer of 1996. This well is located near Cedar <br />Street, east of I35W and will initially serve the Clearwater <br />Creek subdivision. <br />Council Member Elliott moved to adopt Resolution No. 95 - 71 <br />Ordering Preparation of Plans and Specifications for Well and <br />Wellhouse No. 4. Council Member Neal seconded the motion. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />Resolution No. 95 - 71 can be found at the end of these minutes. <br />CONSIDERATION OF RESOLUTION NO. 95 - 60 ACCEPTING DONATION FROM <br />THE LADIES AUXILIARY, VFW POST NO. 6583 <br />Mr. Schumacher explained that the Circle -Lex VFW Post No. 6583, <br />Ladies Auxiliary has donated $1,500.00 to the Lino Lakes Police <br />Department to be used to purchase crime prevention materials and <br />supplies to enhance their crime prevention efforts for 1995. The <br />Circle -Lex VFW Post No. 6583, Ladies Auxiliary is aware of the <br />these efforts and has donated $1,500.00 toward the cost of the <br />needed materials and supplies. The purpose of Resolution No. <br />95 - 60 is to publicly thank the Circle -Lex VFW Post No. 6583, <br />Ladies Auxiliary for their generous donation. <br />Council Member Elliott moved to adopt Resolution No. 95 - 60. <br />Council Member Neal seconded the motion. Motion carried <br />unanimously. Mr. Schumacher explained a thank you letter will be <br />sent to the Ladies Auxiliary. <br />Resolution No. 95 - 60 can be found at the end of these minutes. <br />CONSIDERATION OF RESOLUTION NO. 95 - 64 ACCEPTING DONATION FROM <br />THE CIRCLE -LEX VFW POST NO. 6583 <br />Mr. Schumacher explained that the Circle -Lex VFW Post No. 6583 <br />has donated $800.00 to the Lino Lakes Police Department to be <br />used toward the expense of barricades that needed to be rented <br />for traffic control during the Veterans of Foreign Wars 7th <br />District Loyalty Day Parade which took place on Saturday, April <br />29, 1995.
