1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />COUNCIL MEETING JUNE 12, 1995 <br />Resolution NO. 95 - 74 can be found at the end of these minutes. <br />CITY ENGINEER'S REPORT, JOHN POWELL <br />Consideration of Bids for Well No. 3, Resolution No. 95 - 72 - <br />Mr. Heth explained that at the May 22, 1995 Lino Lakes City <br />Council meeting, the City Council passed Resolution No. 95 - 61 <br />approving plans and specifications for this project and ordering <br />advertisement for bids. Bids were received and opened at 11:00 <br />A.M. on Friday, June 9, 1995. The bids were tabulated and <br />Resolution No. 95 - 72 was prepared accepting the bids and <br />awarding the low bid to E. H. Renner & Sons, Elk River, <br />Minnesota. <br />Council Member Elliott moved to adopt Resolution No. 95 - 72. <br />Council Member Neal seconded the motion. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />Resolution No. 95 - 72 can be found at the end of these minutes. <br />Consideration of the Cooperative Construction Agreement with the <br />Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) for the Lake Drive <br />(CSAH 23) /Highway 49 (Hodgson Road) /North Road (CSAH 10) <br />Improvements, Resolution No. 95 - 66 - Mr. Heth explained that a <br />Cooperative Agreement has been prepared which defines the <br />Department of Transportation cost participation for their share <br />of the roadway improvements and construction engineering. They <br />estimate their share of the improvement at $713,989.35. <br />Resolution No. 95 - 66 approves the cooperative agreement. <br />Council Member Bergeson moved to approve Resolution No. 95 - 66. <br />Council Member Neal seconded the motion. Mayor Reinert noted <br />that this project has been in the process since 1988 and finally <br />it will be realized. <br />Voting on the motion, motion carried unanimously. <br />Resolution No. 95 - 66 can be found at the end of these minutes. <br />Consideration of Resolution No. 95 - 67 Approving Plans and <br />Specifications and Authorizing Advertisement for Bids for the <br />Lake Drive (CSAH 23) /Highway 49 (Hodgson Road) North Road (CSAH <br />10) Improvements - Mr. Heth explained that this project consists <br />of realigning Highway 49 (Hodgson Road) and CSAH 10 (North Road) <br />to intersect at the same location with CSAH 23 (Lake Drive). The <br />new intersection will have right and left turn lanes for all <br />movements and will be signalized. <br />Mr. Heth asked for authorization to advertise for bids this week <br />PAGE 9 <br />81 <br />
