9/11/72 <br />33 <br />Mr. Gotwald reported that the Pump House is completed except for lettering. The <br />wrong letters were sent. He had returned them and it will take about a month for <br />the new ones to arrive. There is a 65,000 BTU heater in the building to keep out <br />the dampness. It is a as fired burner and since there is no gas in the street, <br />Mr. Gotwald had checked with two suppliers of propane gas. Northern Gas of Blain <br />gave him an estimate of '4115.00 and Tex of New Brighton wanted ct151.00 for the tank <br />and necessary fittings to convert to bottle gas. <br />Mr. Cardinal asked if he had contacted North Central and Mr. Gotwald said No, but <br />that he would, and would send the quote to the Council. <br />Mr. '?elinka moved to authorize Mr. Gotwald to take care of this. Seconded by <br />Mr. Cardinal. Carried. <br />Mr. Gotwald said that U. S. Lakes is juggling some of their lots in order to build <br />more single family dwellings. They are also mod.ng part of the Golf Course. The <br />special meeting scheduled for the 14th is just a hearing and can be re-scheduled. <br />Mr. Locher presented the application for the Tax Forfeit land on the east side of <br />the Village. The Council must pass a resolution to request the purchase of this <br />parcel. There are forms to be signed by the Mayor and Clerk- Treasurer. <br />Mr. 7elinka moved to apply to the State for this parcel of land and to authorize <br />the Mayor and Clerk to sign the necessary forms. Seconded by Mr. cardinal. Carried. <br />Mir. Marier moved to renew the present insurance policy coverage as is and to <br />reconsider the 15% increase at such time as we receive a quote from Mr. Ray. Seconded <br />by Mr. Cardinal. Carried. <br />Mr. '7elinka moved to have a sign for the Bus Stop at H•:ly. #49 and Co. Rd. J delivered <br />to the Village Hall. We will install it. Mr. Cardinal seconded. Carried. <br />Norman Fritchie was here to discuss the Fire Contract with Centerville and was told <br />that there is more work to be done and they will get back to him. <br />Mr. Kaufhold had inquired about the plastic covering he had given the Village for <br />the bottom of the pond. He said if they are not goint to use it, he would like it <br />back. The Village Council agreed to return the plastic to Mr. Kaufhold. Mr. Jaworski <br />said he would check into some weed killer for the. pond. <br />Mr. Locher reported on our plumbing code requiring a stub out for future use. He <br />had called the State office to find out if it was necessary to have this on our <br />permits. He was told that the Village cannot 'add to or take away' from our present <br />plumbing code. He still doesn't have an answer as to what type of final inspection <br />is required but we should continue as we are until he gets further information. Mr. <br />Cardinal moved to continue our present requirements. seconded by Mr. Jaworski. <br />Carried. <br />As there was no one to represent the Lion's Club with their plans for Lino Park, <br />Mr. Cardinal moved to table it. Seconded by Mr. Marier. Carried. <br />Mr. Marier moved to approve the requistions with the exception of #128, 132 & 138. <br />Mr. Cardinal seconded. Carried. <br />Mr. 7elinka moved to pay all bills except check #4710. Mr. Cardinal seconded. Carried. <br />Mr. Marier moved to adjourn at 12:55 A. M. Seconded by Cardinal.
