Aye. <br />�; <br />IIIMinutes approved at November 27, 1972 meeting. <br />Clerk- Treasurer <br />The regular meeting of the Lino Lakes Village was called to order at 8 :00 P. M. on Nov. <br />27, 1972, by Mayor Bohjanen. Councilmen present: Cardinal, Jawors T, arM- ie— absent <br />due to i I l nessj_ Zel i nka. Attorney Locher was also present. <br />Minutes of the November 13, 1972 meeting was corrected as follows: Page 3, last <br />paragraph, 3rd line, put period after "Kramer ` add 1TTr. -ZeI i nka suggested someone from <br />another area such as Chomon i x. Mr. Marier suggested Mr. Johnson'. <br />Page 5, 1st paragraph, add 'with firearms' after the word 'HuntingT <br />Mr. Mari er asked for a monthly f i nancT a1 report.- He said this had been voted on and passed <br />by the Council. The Clerk agreed to have one for the next meeting. <br />The Clerk reported: <br />I. She had checked the files and found that the County does not install street <br />lights. <br />2. Called the highway department concerning the Hwy. #49 and Old Hwy. #8 problem <br />and had received a complete set of maps for the area. The project engineer told <br />her he was aware of the problem and there are plans for a change in the Spring. <br />3. Received the 4th quarter State Aid payment in the amount of $12,115.77. <br />4. Received the Homestead Tax Credit in the amount of $8,739.26, to be divided_ <br />as follows: Roads & Bridges - 6,709.57; Fire Dept. 901.87; CD - 356.77; Parks <br />771.05. <br />5. Talked to Surfside about the plane in Marham Lake. The owner's name is Al Carro. <br />He had tried to remove the plane with boats but the muck and quicksand was too <br />much. They now plan to wait until the lake freezes, chop the ice and haul the <br />plane out over the ice. <br />6. Reported to the Council on the Federal Revenue Workshop. The main point that <br />was stressed was that the monies are not primarily for tax relief but to <br />supplement local incomes. If used entirely for tax relief, then your effort <br />would be less and future payments would be less. <br />7. Reported on a meeging at the State Tax Department on Levy Limitations. The <br />hearing was conducted by the office of the State Tax Department and concerned <br />the manner in which the bill will be enforced. <br />8. Recieved Muncipal Court fines in the amount of $35.00 <br />9. Mr. Gotwald had called to say that the chemical put in the well was part of the <br />original contract with the plumbing conern and there will be no charge to the <br />Village and also, the amount there now should last about a year. <br />10. Had a call from Mr. Herbst in response to the letter on the old gravel pit being <br />used as a dump. He has information that he will get to the Council in the form <br />of a letter. <br />II. Read a letter from the Minnesota Housing Institute asking for a copy of our <br />Zoning Ordinance. Mr. Jaworski moved to send them a copy of Ord. #56. Seconded <br />by Mr. Cardinal. Motion carried. <br />12. Read a letter from Digital Map Corporation of San Antonio, Texas, asking for a <br />map of our Vi I lage. Mr. Jaworski moved to write and tell them that the <br />information they want can be obtained through the County Surveyor's Office in <br />Anoka. Seconded by Mr. CArdinal. CArried. <br />
