Mr. Zelinka moved to approve the requisitions Numbers 154, 155; 166 thru 170; 172 thru 177. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Motion carried with Mr. Jaworski voting No. Mr. Cardinal moved to pay the bills #4842 thru 4867 inclusive. Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Motion carried. Mr. Jaworski moved to adjourn at 10:55 P. M. Clerk - Treasurer December 18, 1972 The Special meeting of the Lino Lakes Village Council was called to order at 7:30 on December 18, 1972, by Mayor Bohjanen. Councilmen present; Cardinal, Jaworski, Zelinka, Absent; Ma rie r , due to a meeting. Mr. Bohjanen reported that in a telephone converati on with Mr. Locher, Mr. Locher had informed him that the Council must approve the Water and Sewer Ordinance tonight so they can be published in time for them to become effective on January 1, 1973. The Council reviewed the Water Ordinance and made the following changes; Section 31, paragraph 1 " the amount of $55.00" was agreed upon by the Council; Section 32, Deposit, the sentence was changed to read " which sum shall be equal to $35.00 or 6 months of anticipated water usage, whichever is larger " / Mr. Cardinal moved to adopt the Water Ordinance with the *igures inserted. Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Carried unanimously. The Council review the Sewer Ordinance and found it satisfactory. Mr. Jaworski moved to adopt the Sewer Ordinance. Seconded by Mr. Zelinka. Carried unamimously. There was discussion on the various water meters that the Council had checked. Mr. Zelinka moved to contract for 25 Rockwell meters with the remote read -out unit, from Water Products Company. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal Carried unanimously. Mr. Jaworski moved to pass a Resolution authorizing the Anoka Highway Department to do the snowplowing for the 1972 -1973 seadon the following roads: I. 64th Street, both East and West of 135E. 2. Hansen's Road 3. Cedar Street from the Centervi I le limits to 135E 4. LaMotte Road 5. The cut -off portion of Birch Street now designated as a service road; and that, as in previous years, Anoka County Will plow the Village Road on the West side of Centerville Lake in exchange for Lino Lakes plowing Peltier Drive in Centerville. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Carried. Mr. Zelinka read the recommendation from the Personnel Commission concerning the position of Clerk- Treasurer as fol lows: December 18, 1972 77 "BE IT RESOLVED, BY THIS COUNCIL, that we appoint Edna Lucill Sarner permanent Clerk-Treasurer of the Village of Lino Lakes, effective January 1, 1973, to serve at the pleasure of the Council and subject to the conditions of Ordinance 43A and any subsequent revision thereof, and subject to the following conditions: I. That Edna Lucill Sarner relinquish, at the earliest reasonable time, her position as Village Assessor, providing that the relinquishment is at a time and in a manner that will assure that the Assessor's post is filled by a qualified Village of Lino Lakes resident and, 2. That the starting salary for the position of permanent Clerk- Treasurer be established at $650.00 permonth "/ Mr. Zelinka moved to approve the recommendation. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Carried unanimously. Mr. Zelinka said there had been a resignation from the Personnel Commission and asked that Mr. Cardinal and Mr. Jaworski give him a recommendation for a new member. The Clerk reported that she had received a waiver from the North Suburban Fence Company but it wasn't filled out properly. Mr. Zelinka moved to pay 2/3 of the amount when the form was properly completed. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Carried. Mr. Jaworski moved to adjourn at 8:45 P. M. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Aye. Minutes approved at December 26, 1972 meeting. Clerk- Treasurer December 26, 1972 regular meeting of the Lino Lakes Village Council was called to order at 8 :00 P. M. by Mayor Bohjanen on December 26, 1972. Counci Imen present: Cardinal and Merier, Absent Jaworski and Zelinka. Attorney Locher was also present. Minutes of the December I I , 1972 meeting were corrected as follows: 1st page, 3rd paragraph, should read "Lilac" not 4th Avenue. Mr. Marier moved to approve the minutes as corrected. SEconded by Mr. Cardinal. Carried. Mr. Cardinal moved to approve the minutes of the Special Meeting of December 18, 1972 as written. Seconded by Mr. Bohjanen. Carried with Mr. Marier abstaining. The Clerk reported: 1. She had a letter from Surburban Engineering asking for acceptance of the Streets and Storm sewers in the U. S. Lakes addition #2. This request was tabled until the January 8, 1973 meeting in order to give our Engineer and the remaining Council members time to check on this matter. 2. She had received a form from the Assessor's Office concerning the tax exempt status of the two acres of land owned by the Village in Section 25. The Clerk was instructed to fill out the form and return to the County Assessor's Office. 3. The forms for State Aid to the Police Department had arrived. The Clerk was instructed to talk to Mr. Myhre and f i l l out as necessary. 4. There was a request from Stanley Consultants in conjunction with Anoka Electric for a copy of our Zoning Ordinances and Zoning maps. The Clerk was asked to write and inform them taht we are working on the comprehensive zoning map and zoning ordinance and that they should be complete around the end of March.
