December 18, 1972 <br />77 <br />"BE IT RESOLVED, BY THIS COUNCIL, that we appoint Edna Lucill Sarner permanent <br />Clerk-Treasurer of the Village of Lino Lakes, effective January 1, 1973, to serve at <br />the pleasure of the Council and subject to the conditions of Ordinance 43A and any <br />subsequent revision thereof, and subject to the following conditions: <br />I. That Edna Lucill Sarner relinquish, at the earliest reasonable time, her <br />position as Village Assessor, providing that the relinquishment is at a <br />time and in a manner that will assure that the Assessor's post is filled <br />by a qualified Village of Lino Lakes resident and, <br />2. That the starting salary for the position of permanent Clerk- Treasurer be <br />established at $650.00 permonth "/ <br />Mr. Zelinka moved to approve the recommendation. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Carried <br />unanimously. <br />Mr. Zelinka said there had been a resignation from the Personnel Commission and asked <br />that Mr. Cardinal and Mr. Jaworski give him a recommendation for a new member. <br />The Clerk reported that she had received a waiver from the North Suburban Fence Company <br />but it wasn't filled out properly. <br />Mr. Zelinka moved to pay 2/3 of the amount when the form was properly completed. <br />Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Carried. <br />Mr. Jaworski moved to adjourn at 8:45 P. M. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Aye. <br />Minutes approved at December 26, 1972 meeting. <br />Clerk- Treasurer <br />December 26, 1972 <br />regular meeting of the Lino Lakes Village Council was called to order at 8 :00 P. M. <br />by Mayor Bohjanen on December 26, 1972. Counci Imen present: Cardinal and Merier, Absent <br />Jaworski and Zelinka. Attorney Locher was also present. <br />Minutes of the December I I , 1972 meeting were corrected as follows: 1st page, 3rd <br />paragraph, should read "Lilac" not 4th Avenue. Mr. Marier moved to approve the minutes <br />as corrected. SEconded by Mr. Cardinal. Carried. <br />Mr. Cardinal moved to approve the minutes of the Special Meeting of December 18, 1972 <br />as written. Seconded by Mr. Bohjanen. Carried with Mr. Marier abstaining. <br />The Clerk reported: <br />1. She had a letter from Surburban Engineering asking for acceptance of the <br />Streets and Storm sewers in the U. S. Lakes addition #2. This request was <br />tabled until the January 8, 1973 meeting in order to give our Engineer and <br />the remaining Council members time to check on this matter. <br />2. She had received a form from the Assessor's Office concerning the tax exempt <br />status of the two acres of land owned by the Village in Section 25. The Clerk <br />was instructed to fill out the form and return to the County Assessor's Office. <br />3. The forms for State Aid to the Police Department had arrived. The Clerk was <br />instructed to talk to Mr. Myhre and f i l l out as necessary. <br />4. There was a request from Stanley Consultants in conjunction with Anoka Electric <br />for a copy of our Zoning Ordinances and Zoning maps. The Clerk was asked to <br />write and inform them taht we are working on the comprehensive zoning map and <br />zoning ordinance and that they should be complete around the end of March. <br />
