113 <br />March 26, 1973 <br />last paragraph, add after "carried ", with Mr. Marier voting, No, be- <br />cause the property that had been set aside for open space had not been <br />resolved." Mr. Jaworski moved to accept the minutes as corrected. <br />Seconded by Mr. Marier. Motion carried with Mr. Cardinal abstaining. <br />The Clerk reported on the letter from Mr. John Mi Iton requesting our <br />feelings on the Northtown Corridor. The Council could not remember any <br />information we had received on this. The Clerk was instructed to write <br />to Mr. Milton's office informing him of this and to also check our files <br />for any information that might have been received. <br />She had talked with Mr. Dielentheis in regards to the back -up well and <br />pump on Cutlass Circle. Mr. Dielentheis said they would be glad to <br />leave the pump hooked into our system but he felt that we should assume <br />the electric charges for the pump. Mr. Cardinal moved to leave the pump <br />hooked up and the Vi I lage to assume the charges for service. Seconded <br />by Mr. Jaworski. Motion carried. <br />She had computed the hours and cost to the Police Department in regards <br />to the service given the Treatment Center. She was instructed to mail <br />this to the proper offices. <br />The Clerk and the Mayor were authorized to sign the 1973 contract with <br />Milner Carley Engineering. <br />Read a letter from the Anoka County Health Department in regards to the <br />property located at Highways #8and #49. This property is owned by <br />George Reiling of St. Paul. They have written him a letter informing him <br />of the condition of the property and asking him to clean it up and fi I I in <br />the basement. <br />We have received the first quarter payment of State Aid in the <br />Amount of $13,101.53, and rgunicipal court fines in the amount of $17.50. <br />Read the letter from Mr. Dupre, building inspector, on the condition of <br />the barn on Birch Street. The Council requested the Clerk to write and <br />ask Mr. Dupre for his recommendation as to what should be done; should it <br />be torn down or is it repairable? <br />Reported on a meeting conducted by the State Highway Department but the <br />letter had arrived too late for the Council to attend. The Clerk was <br />instructed to write the Highway Department informing them of this. <br />Mr. Cardinal reported there had not been a quorum at the Park Board <br />meeting but that he had informed the ones who were there of the pro- <br />gress being done by the Lino's Club. Mr. Cardinal said they had heard <br />something about a year ago but nothing since. Mr. Zelinka said they <br />have about 1,100.00 committed at the present time to put into the Park. <br />They will ask some assisstance from the Council. Mr. McLean has a <br />colored drawing of the proposal. Mr. Jaworski asked that he appear <br />at the next Park Board meeting. <br />
