March 26, 1973 <br />Rose Apitz had called with a complaint on the shooting going on on the <br />property adjacent to Baldwin Lake. There was discussion on this with Mr. <br />Myhre saying he had chased people out of there 5 times on Sunday. They <br />all had shotguns, so outside of trespassing, they are not breaking any <br />laws. The Clerk is to call Mr. Glenn Rehbein and ask him to post "No <br />TREASPASSING" signs. <br />Under old business, the Council was reminded of the meeting with the <br />Metor Sewer Board here at the Hall on April 10, 1973. <br />Mr. Jaworski said he had talked with Mr. Gotwald concerning the Metro <br />Sewer Board Report and Mr. Gotwald would like to meet with the Council <br />before they meet with the MSB, the evening of Ap ri I 5, 1973 at 8:00 P.M. <br />was set for a specLal meeting with Mr. Gotwald. <br />Mr. Marier reported that he has a conflict of meetings on the IOth and <br />asked Mr. Locher if there was a possibility of changing the date to the <br />Ilth or 12th. Mr. Locher said he would try. <br />Mr. Zelinka and the Clerk had had complaints on the dogs running loose <br />in the Lakeview area. A resident had wondered if there couldn't be a <br />lease law in the area where we have a buring ban. There was discussion <br />on this and, also, that dogs must be licensed at the age of 3 months. <br />Mr. Myhre reported that he had many calls on this same problem and that <br />the people claim that some of the dogs are from Blaine. The Clerk is to <br />write Blaine and ask for their cooperation in cleaning up this problem. <br />Mr. Chuck Larson appeared before the Council. He is in the process of <br />purchasing the Blue Heron from Mr. Stanley Thayer and was asking the <br />requirements for obtaining a Liquor license. Mr. Locher read the <br />requirements from our Ordinance. Mr. Myhre reported that he had checked <br />Mr. Larson's record and found no adverse reports. Mr. Larson lives in <br />Golden Valley at the present time. He was told that in order to obtain <br />a Liquor license, he must be a resident of the V i I l age of Lino Lakes. <br />Also, that he would have to have a bond and insurance. These things <br />must be presented to the Council before any action on his application <br />can be taken. Mr. Larson asked how long it would take to the get the <br />license once he full fi Iled the requirements. Mr. Jaworski said if all <br />things were in order, it could be acted upon at thattime. Mr. Larson <br />will get the necessary papers and establish residency before the next <br />Council meeting. <br />Mr. Cardinal moved to approve Requisitions #212 thru #229, adding an oil <br />pump to #221. Seconded by Mr. Marier. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Cardinal moved to approve payment of the bills #5031 thru #5052 <br />with instructions to the Clerk that #'s 5043 -5044 & 5050 are to be <br />charged to the construction fund. Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Carried. <br />Mr. Marier moved to adjourn at 10:30 P.M. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal.
