1 6 <br />March 26, 1973 <br />Mr. Graham of the Spring Realty Company had appeared in behalf of <br />McDonald Ind. in conjunction with the erection of a 500' radio tower <br />on the Amelia Rehbe i n property located on Birch Street. He was asking <br />for information as to the necessary action to take in regards to the <br />use of the land. Mr. Jaworski asked it they had contacted to FAA. Mr. <br />Marier said, No, they had only the permission of the FCC. The Clerk <br />is to call Mr. Graham and ask him about this. Mr. Cardinal moved to set <br />the hearing for- a special use permit for Apri I 18, 1973 at 8:45 P.M. <br />before the P &Z Board and April 23, 1973 at 8 :45 P.M. before the Counci I <br />for the McDonald Ind. Seconded by Mr. Marier. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Marier reported there had been a presentation on the For -Jay operation <br />and Mr. Zelinka will have the complete layout ready for the next P &Z <br />meeting. <br />The P &Z Board had recommended a Spring Clean -Up week and had asked that <br />the Council set aside a week for this and to notify all residents. The <br />Council agreed to set the last week in April as Spring Clean -Up week and <br />flyers are to be distributed with the Information Guides. <br />He also reportedthat the P &Z Board will be interviewing prospects for <br />a Planning consultant on April 14, 1973. They will interview a represnt- <br />ative from Midwest Planning at 8:00 P.M. and one from Beckman and Yonder <br />at 9:00 P.M. and will have a recommendation for the next Council meeting. <br />Mr. Zelinka said there had been no meetings of the Enviornmental Commission <br />but that the Personnel Commission will be meeting this week to make a <br />salary study. <br />Mr. Locher had looked over the application by Mr. Thomas LAVaI le for <br />sewer installation license and found the insurance in order except the <br />copy was issued to the ViIlege of New Brighton. The Clerk is to write <br />and ask for a copy issued to the Village of Lino Lakes and also that <br />the Cannce l l ati on only with 10 days notice be added. <br />Mr. Francis Burque appeared in regards to some lots that he owns on <br />20th Avenue So. He plans to attend a County meeting tomorrow and will have <br />more information as to their requirements for right -of -way demands. <br />There was discussion on the plat he presented but no action was taken. <br />Mr. Locher and the Clerk reported that they had no news on the plane in <br />Marsham Lake. <br />The Clerk presented applications from U.S. Lakes for directional signs <br />in conjunction with the opening of their new models. There was discussion <br />as to the location and Mr. Jaworski moved to send to the P &Z. Seconded by <br />Mr-. Cardinal. Motion carried. They asked that the location of the signs <br />be shown on a mop,. <br />The Clerk also reported that she had a call from Mr. Herbst this day <br />informing her that he had posted the gravel pit. He had found it full <br />of branches and cut trees and whi le there a truck from the Kunz Tree <br />Service had driven in with a load but on seeing hire, had driven away <br />and he had been unable to catch them. <br />
