The Clerk is to contact Mr. Gotwald and ask him to compute the <br />cost of surfacing Pine Street from 4th Avenue to Old Highway #8. <br />Mr. Clem Frazer was in the audience. Mr. Locher reported on the progress <br />of the Bruder case. Mr. Myhre had issued a citation for 4 junk cars in <br />violation and Mr. Locher read the citation. Mr. Frazer asked if anything <br />had been done about the gas tank. Mr. Locher said that Mrs. Bruder had <br />refused to allow Mr. Livingston on her property to inspect the gas tank. <br />Mr. Locher was in the process of finding out if Mr. Livingston could enter <br />the property without the owner's permissions. <br />Mr. Locher read from our Ordiance covering the storing of inflamable <br />liquids and said that a citation could be wssued since from the information <br />available it would seem that Mr. Bruder is in direct violation of that <br />Ordinance. <br />Mr. Cardinal asked if the tank could be inspected from Mr. Frazer's yard? <br />Mr. Locher said that this had already been done. Also, Mr. Bruder has <br />no license to store inflamable liquids. The consensus of the Council was <br />that Mr. Bruder is in' violation of the Ordinance governing the storage <br />of inflamable liquids and the Fire Marshall, Mr. Livingston, will be <br />instructed to issue a citation. <br />Mr. Marier reported that Mr. Boyer had appeared before the P &Z asking for <br />a variance to the 22 acre requi rement. His property is located on Bi rch <br />Street with 208' front footage and a depth of 241'. The P &Z recommended <br />approval of the variance. Mr. Marier so moved. Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. <br />Motion carried. <br />Mr. Fran Burque appeared seeking permission for the removal of top soi I <br />on the East side of the Village on property he owns. Mr. Locher read <br />from the ordinance governing such operations. There was a not on Mr. <br />Locher's copy of the ordinance requiring a special use permit and setting <br />the cost at 100.00 plus 0.15 per yard to be put in escrow for the restora- <br />tion of the land. The yardage to be determined by the Engineer. There <br />was much discussion on this. The Clerk found the minutes of Aug. 28, 1972 <br />and read where this was passed by Resolution on the Council. Mr. Burque <br />said he would think this over and contact the Clerk. <br />Mr. Marier also reported that Mr. Kelling had run into quite a mix up in <br />the house numbers while working on the assessment. He had explained how <br />the numbering s 'kstem had been set up for the Village. Mr. Kelling had <br />recommended that all new house numbers be issued from the Clerk's office <br />in conjunction with an overlay to be provided by the Engineer providing <br />the Building Inspector doesn't already have one. Mr. Marier so moved. <br />Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Marier read the recommendation of the P &Z that some positive action <br />be taken on the sanitary l andf i 1 at the old grave pit. There was much <br />discussion on this. Mr. Jaworski moved to have the Police issue tags to <br />Mr. Herbst, Mr. Rei 1 ing and others in the Vi I lage who have junk collecting <br />on their property. Seconded by Mr. Marier. Motion carried. Mr. Bohjanen <br />
