230 <br />December 26, 1973 <br />The regular meeting of the Lino Lakes Village Council was called to order on <br />December 26,1973, at 8:02 P.M. by Mayor Bohjanen. Councilmen present; Cardinal, <br />Jaworski. Absent; Marier, Zelinka. Mr. Locher was also present. <br />Mr. Jaworski moved to approve the minutes of December 10, 1973 as written. <br />Seconded by Mr. Cardinal. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Marier arrived at 8:05 P. M. <br />The Clerk read a letter she had received from Chrysler in reference to the Patrol <br />Car. This letter is to be kept on file in the event there is trouble with the <br />rear -end. The Clerk was instructed to write to Barnett Chrysler- Plymouth asking <br />for an adjustment on the front tires that are worn due to the lowering of the <br />front end by that firm. <br />She read a letter from the State of Minnesota Highway Department asking for a <br />Village zoning map in order to enforce the "Minnesota Outdoor Advertising Control <br />Act': She was instructed to write and inform them that we do not have certification <br />of our zoning map as yet. It is being considered. <br />- -Read a letter confirming the thirty day extension for review of the Compreh- <br />ensive Land Use Plan by the Metropolitan Council. <br />- -Read a letter from the Minnesota Polution Control Agency addressed to Mr. Paul <br />Howard of the Baldwin Lake Trailer Court dealing with the sewage treatment at <br />that location and the reports that are necessary for Mr. Howard to submit to the <br />agency. <br />- -Read a letter from Mr. Dannheim reminding the Council of the meeting of the <br />NSSSB on Dec. 27, at 7:30 P.M. Also, in connection with that meeting, the <br />appointment to fill the vacancy left by expiration of Mr. Joseph Craig's term. <br />Mr. Marier moved to pass the following resolution; <br />Be It Hereby Resolved that the Council of the Village of Lino Lakes go on <br />record as supporting the re- appointment of Mr. Joseph Craig as a represent- <br />ative to the Metropolitan Sewer Board. <br />The Resolution was seconded by Mr. Cardinal and was passed unaminously. <br />- -Read the correspondence between Mr. Locher and Mr. Parta - concerning a <br />meeting to be scheduled between the Lino Lakes Village Council and the Anoka <br />County Board of Commissioners. Mr. Marier moved to instruct Mr. Locher to write <br />and ask for a definite date. He felt that the Board of Commissioners were not <br />responsive to the needs of the Village and he felt that if we have no response <br />from them, then we should possibly seek assistance from the State Legislature. <br />Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Motion carried unanimously. <br />- -Read a letter from the Real Estate Firm of Anderson - Freitag concerning signs <br />on property located within the Village. These signs are "For Sale" signs. The <br />exact acreage and For Sale" portion of the sign is being printed and will be <br />installed as soon as they are available. <br />The rezoning hearing for Mr. Clement Schmitz was called to order at 8:15 P.M. <br />Mr. Locher read the mailing list and the certification of mailing list and the <br />published notice of the hearing for the rezoning. <br />Mr. Marier asked if the papers were all in order and Mr. Locher said they were. <br />Mr. Bohjanen asked if there was any one present who had any objections to this <br />rezoning.
