The Clerk was instructed to write the Anoka Health Department and <br />inform them of this decision. <br />Mayor Bohjanen suggested that since Mr. Jaworski was absent, the consideration <br />of the specs for the storage building be tabled until next meeting. <br />Mr. McLean suggested that in the interium, the reasons for and the need be <br />analysed in order to know more as to how much storage space is needed. He <br />felt that the present space we have, the materials that need to be stored and <br />the future needs for storage space should be considered. The storage space <br />at Sunrise Park should also be included. <br />Mr. McLean moved to have this analysis done. Seconded by Mr. Zelinka. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Zelinka moved to have the study completed in 30 days. Seconded by Mr. McLean. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mayor Bohjanen had received a questionaire concerning 1973 building permits. This <br />is from the Metro Council. The Clerk was instructed to fill out and mail. <br />The Open Space Meeting with the Anoka County Commissioners is scheduled for <br />February 27, 1974. <br />Mayor Bohjanen had received calls from school bus drivers thanking him for <br />the good job of sanding being done, especially at the intersections. <br />Mr. McLean reported that he had not called a meeting of the Park, Recreational <br />and Enviornmental Commission. He had revised Ordinance #57. Mr. Locher also had <br />copies of Ordinances. Mr. McLean asked' -the Clerk to type his and they will be <br />compared and revised at the next meeting. <br />Mr. Locher reminded the Council that Ordinance #57 would have to be repealed. <br />Mr. McLean said that he will contact the members of the Commission and discuss <br />the most convient night for meetings. He thought either the 3rd. Monday or 3rd. <br />Thursday of the month. <br />Some of the areas for discussion were talked about and how this would be set up. <br />Mr. McLean left the bulk of the discussion for next meeting. <br />Mr. Locher reported there will be a workshop conducted by the Metro Council on <br />Feb. 1, 1974 at the Holiday Inn in St. Paul from 12:00 Noon to 4:00 P.M. on land <br />use - specifically, ways to avoid urban sprawl. <br />He also reported that the Metro Council had approved the City's Comprehensive <br />Land Use Plan. Some of the points were discussed. Mr. Marier and Mr. McLean felt <br />that these have all been covered by the P &Z and the Council with the Metro Staff. <br />Under Old Business, Mr. Zelinka asked if there was any new information on the <br />Bruder case. Mr. Locher said, No, and he asked Mr. Myhre if he had anything to <br />report. Mr. Myhre said that Mr. Bruder has not been home for the weekends so there <br />has been no change. Mr. Locher requested a complete report from Mr. Myhre. <br />The establishing of the years for elections was to be discussed at this meeting, but <br />Mayor Bohjanen felt that since this is an important issue, he would rather wait until <br />the full council is present. The Clerk was asked to put this on the next agenda. <br />
