1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />February 13, 1974 <br />Boundaries: and the resolution. <br />However, the City does feel that the problem existing with the roadway <br />through the Leibel and Kohler lands must be resolved and that the City of Lino <br />Lakes must have a member or members, residents of Lino Lakes, on the County Park <br />Board. <br />Mr. McLean motioned to adjourn. Seconded by Mayor Bohjanen. Motion carried. <br />The minutes approved at the meeting of February 25, 1974. <br />i <br />Clerk -Tress er <br />February 25, 1974 <br />The regular meeting of the Lino Lakes Council was called to order at 8:00 p.m. on <br />February 25, 1974 by Mayor Bohjanen. Councilmen present; Jaworski, Marier, McLean. <br />Absent; Zelinka. Mr. Locher and Mr. Starr were also present. <br />Mr. Marier moved to approve the minutes as corrected. Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. <br />Motion carried. <br />Mr. Marier moved to approve the minutes of February 13, 1974 as written. Seconded <br />by Mr. Jaworski. Motion carried. <br />2j_� <br />The Clerk's report included the following: <br />A letter from the Metropolitian Council in reference to "Anoka County Thorough- <br />fare Plan Metropolitan Council referral File No. 1939. This letter informs the <br />Council that a request for a hearing must be filed within 10 days in the form <br />of a resolution stating the provision in the proposal that they disagree with. <br />The Clerk was instructed to write, noting the date of receipt of the letter, <br />and inform the Metropolitan that due to the late receipt of the letter, there <br />is not enough time for action by the Council. Mr. McLean moved to have the <br />Clerk contact Anoka County for a copy of this Plan. Seconded by Mr. Marier. <br />Motion carried. <br />The Clerk had received a letter from the Homeward Bound Orginazition asking for <br />permission to obtain a license to conduct a fund raising operation within the <br />community. The Clerk was instructed to write and inform them there is no license <br />required by the City of Lino Lakes for fund raising. <br />Read a letter from the Metropolitan Sewer Board in connection with the Compre- <br />hensive Land Use Plan asking if this plan involves change in land use that <br />would involve a change in the Comprehensive Sewer Plan. The Clerk was asked to <br />notify the Metro Sewer Board of the Public Hearing to be held in conjunction <br />with the Comprehensive Land Use Plan and to contact Mr. Gotwald and answer <br />the letter as to the changes likely in the overall sewer plan. <br />Read the letter from the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency giving a permit for <br />construction of the sanitary sewer extension ih the Shenadoah Plat. This plan <br />must still be approved by the Metro Sewer Board and the Metro Council. Mr. <br />Marier felt that the Council should concentrate on getting approval of the <br />Interceptor and think of this project second. He was concerned of getting off <br />
