Aye.
The minutes approved at the meeting of March 25, 1974.
Clerk - Treasurer
March 25, 1974
The regular meeting of the Lino Lakes City Council was called to order at 8:05 p.m.
by Mayor Bohjanen. Councilmen present; Jaworski, Marier, McLean. Absent; Zelinka.
Mr. Locher will arrive later due to a conflict of meetings.
Mr. Marier moved to approve the minutes of March 11, 1974 as presented. Seconded
by Mr. McLean. Motion carried.
The Clerk reported that the cabinet ordered for the Police Department had arrived
damaged. She had called Morley Transfer and they will send some one to inspect.
Mr. Myhre had taken a look and thought maybe it could be mended with cabinet
clamps. The general consensus of the Council was to wait and see what the Transfer
Company has to say.
She reported receiving $177.50 in municipal fines.
Read a letter that Mr. Locher had written to Mr. Glanzer, Attorney for the prop-
erty owner of the Birchwood Hills Stables requesting that the property be made
secure for animals or the renters not be allowed to house animals, especially
horses, at that location. Mr. Glanzer has an unlisted phone number so we will
have to wait for an answer.
Mr. McLean was under the impression that fencing had been asked for several years
ago.
Mr. Zelinka arrived.
The proofs for the Information Guide had been sent by Jiffy Print. There was some
discussion on the size of the print. It was suggested that it be in the next size.
The Clerk will contact them.
Mr. Milton's Office had called and would like to schedule several meetings with
the people and the Council between Legislative sessions. He would like to meet
with the public a half hour before the regular Council meetings and then would
plan on remaining for the meeting. He also requested to be put on the mailing
list for agendas and minutes. His Office will contact the Clerk at least two weeks
before he schedules a meeting in order for the announcement to be made.
A joint agreement for the purchase of gasoline was received from Anoka County. Mr.
Marier moved to sign this agreement. Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Motion carried.
1
1
1
