268
March 25, 1974
Mrs. Liebel Sr., said the Open Space program is taking 170 acres of their land.
She said they had worked to keep this for their children so they could have
land for their homes. It seemed to her after taking that much of their property,
they could exclude that small parcel between the two homes.
Mr. Bohjanen said all we can do is ask.
Mr. Zelinka said the Board is well aware of the feeling of the Council in
regards to this parcel of land.
Mr. Hal Leible asked if it would help if the Public appeared at the Commissioners
meeting?
Mr. Zelinka felt that if it was done in the right way. He felt that if you
pushed, then you would not make any progress.
Mrs. Kohler asked if any of the Board of Commissioners had been out and take
a look at the property?
The Council did not know if they had or not - several had said they planned to.
Mr. Zelinka moved that the Council instruct Mr. Locher to report to the County
Commissioners that the City of Lino Lakes is in general approval with their
proposal but to emphasize the differences on the land North of Reshanau Lake
and Parcel 2 on Centerville Lake and to include the changes as outlined by the
Council. Seconded by Mr. McLean. Motion carried unanimously.
Mr. Jaworski moved to send a letter of thanks to the Sheriff's office for his
assistance in the kidnapping. Seconded by Mr. Zelinka. Motion carried unanimously.
Mr. McLean asked to table the Park Ordinance until the April 8th, 1974 meeting.
Mr. Jaworski so moved. Seconded by Mr. Marier. Motion carried.
Mr. Jaworski moved to adjourn at 11:00 p.m. Seconded by Mr. Marier. Aye.
The minutes approved at the meeting of April 8, 1974.
1
1
